G.I. Joe Classified Series

He's a merc. He can do anything. I put him with Firefly and Destro on the Hired Dudes side of the shelf.

Baroness commands the actual troopers and vipers.

I’ve always seen Bludd as one of the more loyal members of Cobra, or specifically Cobra Commander. Don’t know if that’s accurate to the cartoon or comic at all, but that was how I played when I was a kid.

In the comics, I think Bludd was always for whoever paid him, though there was a point when he and Baroness plotted to use Cobra Commander's own son to kill him. He actually disappeared from the comics for a long time but I remember him coming back later when he was hired to kill Snake Eyes during his V3 period.

The cartoon made him seem like a loyal field commander. But I think he and... Zartan? Destro too I guess, are some of the few Cobras without a logo on their clothes.

Official GI Joe insta account just said the generi-cop will be available in the fall:

And OMG the COMMENTS, truly popcorn worthy. "Did they pull over Doc and Roadblock for looking suspicious?"
"This instagram post has the right to remain silent. Anything it says can and will be interpreted wildly by the fandom."

Canonically, there had to be someone who was loyal to CoCo?? Was there? I know Destro wasn’t always, Baroness seemed pulled between them and her own machinations, the twins seemed in it for themselves…

I keep thinking of CoCo as your standard American CEO. Blusters a good game, holds the keys to the finances, but if you meet him you can't fucking stand him and immediately start hoping for his downfall. I think the reason his entire inner circle would betray him in a heartbeat is he's good enough to keep the guys on the ground loyal but the minute you meet the man you lose faith in him.

His heart goes out to you. Seriously though I think they were going for directing traffic.
It's funny, I know it's got to be an inadvertent whoops and he's supposed to be directing traffic, but given the state of the country the last thing ANYONE wants to see is a cop waving at you to pull over.

That's actually a point I have in a few of my cards. Several Cobra agents, like a couple of the officers/troopers, joined Cobra for the ideals it stands for, wanting to topple all world governments, but feel CC has lost his way essentially. A couple of them feel they could redirect the organization the way it's meant to go.
