Star Wars Black Series

Some of the rumored figures from the start of this year still haven't been mentioned, and I really hope they get revealed soon. Especially Saesee Tiin, Agen Kolar, Pong Krell, Kyle Katarn, Cere Jundha, Darth Sion, Darth Traya, and Lord Starkiller.

But there are so many others that have been rumored, and I'd think most if not all of them would be real since all the others have come true this year like EPIII Obi Wan and Anakin, the new Chewie and Han, Clone Lieutenant Galle, etc.

But besides all the Jedi and Sith I mentioned, we are supposed to get

A new Obi Wan, 3PO, and R2 from A New Hope, Blind Kanan, Hera, Zeb from Mandalorian, Carson Teva, Embo, Season 2 Luthen Rael, Cinta Kaz, Kino Loy, Snowtrooper updated, some other Clones including the Galactic Marine and EPII Clone Pilot and more.

Hopefully we start seeing some of this stuff revealed or up for pre order soon.
Now that's a heck of a list. I'd be down for pretty much everyone mentioned here. Problem is, I'm not seeing a Syril Karn or Kleya mentioned here. Sure, the latter didn't really get popular until this last season so she may not be on their radar, but Syril's been in play since the start and there's still no figure for him. Which feels oddly correct for Syril, but dang it, I want him on my shelf! Same with Bail- at this point I don't care if it's Smits or Bratt, I just gotta get him on the shelf.

At this point, I wonder if Zeb is going to be labeled for Mandalorian or the upcoming movie. Same with Carson, who, granted we don't know is in the movie or not, but it feels like a safe bet. I doubt they're gonna skip the movie altogether, but I wonder if we'll only see the new characters/variants of Mando and Grogu, or if it'll be an excuse to give us missing characters too.

Trying to think of who's at the top of my list now that we have Dash and really there's none that really stand out for me. Because I'd be too embarrassed to say Watto is my new most wanted figure (but really, where TF is Watto?)

Really at this point I'm hoping for more of the random aliens like from the cantina, Jabba's palace, and podracers. Over the past year, the likes of Sebulba and Momaw Nadon have been my favorites.

Anyway. The Acolyte worked for me because I like tired old men filled with regrets about their bad decisions, I like stories about gloried institutions cracking at the foundation, I hate "sympathetic villains" but I love villains who look at the world and point out what's wrong with it and are not wrong, I like beautifully choreographed lightsaber fights, I like Jedi as detectives, I like weird lil guy aliens who are in a Star Wars project just to be weird lil guys, I liked the Old Republic being lined with golds and jade and opulence like an empire unaware how close it is to falling under the weight of its own arrogance, I like stories where there isn't a chosen one hero but a bunch of lesser protagonists bumble-fucking their way toward trying to do the right thing, so the whole project just felt good to me as a change of pace. It's no Andor, but nothing is Andor, and it's far from the worst project Star Wars has put out.
To be fair.. I also like ALL of these things and I think Acolyte was a bad show. Not the worst thing ever made. But quite bad. You can put in all the ingredients and still bake the cake wrong.

I don’t really get the sequel hate. I mean, I get the Rise of Skywalker-specific hate, because that film was obviously just totally cowardly assembled by committee. But The Force Awakens is totally solid, and The Last Jedi is, like, the second or third best SW film of all time.
Rise of Skywalker might be one of the worst -films- ever made. Forget the Star Wars qualifier.
Force Awakens is great. And I really liked a lot of what Last Jedi did with the one exception of 'now we can teleport things through the Force.' I hated that SO much.

And that's why my biggest beef above is people not using the qualifier you use: "and I think." I've got no problem with people disliking something I liked, but man I'm tired of the all or nothing crowd who have lost the ability to say "I think it's bad/I didn't like it" versus "it's sucks and we should review bomb it and attack anyone who says anything nice about it online."

The folks in this thread know art is subjective, but my god is there a chunk of Star Wars dickheads who don't.

Can I just, for Grodd’s sake, FINALLY get a figure of Boba Fett *from* The Book of Boba Fett???????
Like come on! Just scale up the 3 3/4 figure!!
Beyond that, I want that 90s EU goodness with more SotE, Dark Empire, and Dark Forces.
And the cantina aliens. ALL of them.
And the Jabba’s palace denizens.

Make all that, and I’ll even buy some candy-colored clones.

I'm with you on all the 90s EU goodness, cantina and palace aliens, all that yes. But even as someone who was disappointed with BOBF, yes I still like the costume and would definitely get that figure. I'd also be tempted to get a second and do a custom of my suit since it's mostly an amalgam of his suit from Mandalorian and the BOBF armor, with little touches from every other version.

Totally fair. Also fair to point out that some people mean those things but don't use the qualifiers. I sometimes say something 'sucks' or 'is terrible.' But I do it with the assumed understanding that we're talking about art and therefore it's a subjective matter to begin with. Unless I'm criticizing technical things or something like that, I suppose.
That is to say, I don't think everyone that says 'that show is awful' mean 'that show is factually objectively a bad show and everyone should agree with me.' Until, at least, you get into what you said about people demanding everyone review-bomb and all that. That is just fucking insano nonsense.

How long have Teva and the Andor figs been rumored? Kino is one I want! I figured Teva would get held for the movie, whether or not he's actually in it.

The convo about Acolyte getting all the toy love and Andor not so much - really hope Hasbro fills in some of the Andor gaps - and these rumors help! No Kleya, but surely she's just further behind. Also, Bail's continued absence is odd.

I think there was enough insane bullshit around the Acolyte specifically that in this case, and cases like it, I hold my breath on someone's opinion until they explain it so I can tell if they're rational or trolling. I mean, particularly with Star Wars, the fact that people were saying "LEAVE THE FUCKING KIDS ALONE" before Skeleton Crew premiered because Star Wars fans are so infamously toxic that it's hard to take anyone's opinion at face value. TBF, I actually have Star Wars, The Last Jedi, Skywalker, Ryan Johnson, and about a half-dozen other Star Wars terms muted on all my social media because I've tired of Star Wars opinions in general.

And as always, I say: fanatic is not a compliment and I hope I'm never labeled a fan of anything.

I was late to the clone craze. I watched an exceptionally small amount of Clone Wars media before COVID.
Who are the bigger names still missing?
Neyo? Gregor? Howzer? Doom?
We're rumored to be getting 21st Nova Corps (Galactic Marines). I have a small army I'm rather proud of, but real excited to add to it.

Facts all around.

I think what disappointed me most about Acolyte wasn't that I didn't like it. It's that I wanted it to be good so badly in large part -because- of the pre-release bitching and crying about Star Wars having the ABSOLUTE AUDACITY to cast a black woman as the lead. I wanted to able to pop up whenever people complained about the show and be like 'it's actually straight fire and you only hate it because you're a perpetually miserable racist piece of shit.' But, as you said, with the actual quality of show we got it becomes necessary to kind of parse the reasoning someone hates it and that's kind of exhausting because I really don't want to spend ANY time entertaining the ideas of bigots.

Score! I came across a lone 501st trooper at Wal-Mart (slummed it because I needed dinner ingredients and I hate Price Chopper). He was marked down to $15 because the package was crushed. I put him back because I have my required 4 in the old style and I wasn't going to get just a lone trooper that wouldn't look the same as the others. When I walked around the corner there were 3 more, all clearanced because of crushed packages. Kismet!

The figures of Carson Teva and the Andor figures have been rumored throughout this year, but I don't know when exactly they were first mentioned. But certain YouTubers and Yakface were the places who seemed to mention them first months ago. Carson Teva probably will be next year, as will Zeb, because Sigourney Weaver's character from Mando and Grogu is also rumored. So, Teva and Zeb probably will be in 2026 with her.
