Operation Monster Force

I have 2 of the green and 2 of the red wave 1 troopers, but don't have anything else preordered right now.

Anybody remember the 90's Sci-Fi channel show "The Invisible Man"? He had a special gland implanted that secreted a fluid that rendered him invisible for about an hour. Solved the clothes problem.

So, like, the inviso-milk soaked into his clothes?

In the movie 'Memoirs of an Invisible Man,' Chevy Chase got turned invisible by radiation, including the suit he was wearing at the time (and that wing of the building.) There was a brief but funny moment where he's trying to find his sleeve to put his jacket on. That bit stuck with me.

Pretty much. From what I remember, in all of it's late 90's tv budget CGI, it was a silvery-liquid that would coat his body, but after about an hour it would dry and and crack and shatter. It was a fun show.

I do recall this show but not that detail. That's... kinda gross. I mean, it's a solution to that problem... but gross. Very "what if Spider-Man spun webs *exactly* like a spider" in tone.

Especially gross when you consider that the fluid should still be on his skin while he is invisible so anything he touches should have residue of his invisi-goo left on it.

A kind of update on O:MF Wave 2. We knew it was just generally delayed, but here's a post explaining that, even when finished, they'll be held in China until the tariffs come down.

Which replaces the concerns over markups with the anxiousness of wanting them now.

Well, on one hand it’s good that we probably won’t have to pay $60 a figure for these, but on the other hand I’m wondering how long a company like FM can hold out not shipping product and not having money come in.

I’ve only got the General pre ordered from this wave, with not-James Bond pre ordered from that side line. I’m guessing this’ll mess up the timeline for Crimson Moon, but as long as they eventually come out, I’ll be fine. I have a whole plan in place to buy an entire new figure shelf just to accommodate the space for those guys with my Classifieds along with the Roboskull. Really hoping they don’t get canceled or anything.

I'm A-OK waiting if it means cheaper. But what if that never happens.

Well they’re made. They’ll either never ship or be sold to the Asian market and we’ll have to get them though other channels

Honestly, don’t mind the delay. FMF also had a bad timing of releasing stuff when Joe was shipping a lot of stuff.

Operation Monster Force wasn’t gonna make the cut for army building if they shipped at the same time as the SNAKE, CLAW, and retro viper

If these are delayed, the already past Christmas Naughty or Nice figures will be later even still.

I feel like FMF didn’t even have to announce the delay lol probably would’ve been a delay if there weren’t tariffs

They aren't on sale but are the prices lower again? The listings on BBTS also stipulate "Excludes Tariff Surcharge".
