McFarlane DC Multiverse

So, I saw someone saying we were supposed to get a few female figures before Todd was done and the rumor is they are Cheetah (which may be a Page Punchers), Ice, Jessica Cruz, Zatanna (which we know is coming), Black Canary, and Poison Ivy.
Have you all heard rumors like that?

I'd love to get Ivy and Canary before we wrapped up.

I lost track of the rumors, I hope those all come true.

I've also heard panther suit Kilmer Batman, Linda Carter WW and John Wesley Shipp Flash once upon a time. I hope those all come true.
 
My Mr. Bones and Obsidian were delivered today and they may well be my favorite McFarlane figures to date. The only weak point for me are the capes. I understand the complaints about plastic or rubber capes, but I really don't like the way these loth capes look and the collar/hood(?) is terrible.

That said the proportions are good, the paint jobs are solid and they overall are just well done figures. The hand choices continue to crack me up. One set of Mr Bones' hands are like twice the size of the other set but its whatever.

Happy to have tjese guys. Hope a few more of this quality that meet my criteria for purchase see release beforenits over.
 
I thought that the gold label red cyborg superman was a target exclusive since it came out with the basic superman movie figures in July...
it was very scarce here when it did...
but I found two of them today at walmart when they put out a case of basic movie figures. pleasant surprise. thought that ship had sailed.
 
Of course Jessica Cruz is a chase.

Blackhawk caught my eye, hadn't heard anything about an Ice figure and it was going to be peak lame if we had Fire without Ice. Love seeing Cosmic Boy in there... gives me a glimmer of hope we'll get Saturn Girl to finish out at LEAST the core three.
 
That sucks that Cruz is a chase. I hope I can get her but if I don't that's alright. But I have to get that Professor Pyg.
 
I'm wondering whether those Wally and Barry figures will reuse the shit BB and N52 bodies, or will Todd finally give them a buck that suits the characters.

The two big exciting things for me with this announcement are Wally West Flash and Zatanna.

I had to google what "New World Order" was to see if it wasn't some weird offshoot of Wally's look, but it's just the title to Morrison's initial JLA arc, meaning it should just be Wally's standard Flash look. Yay! No doubt just a redo of his video game look. Still.....yay!

I have no interest in Jessica Cruz but sorry for those that want her. Honestly, if they can get us Black Canary before the end, that will pretty much check off my DC female want list.

Not having Canary has felt for a long time like the real big sticking point for a lot of people (Lack Canary?). I was hoping on a Lady Shiva and a Katana, and the latter seemed at least a little possible, but looks like I'm going to have to see what Mattel does there.
 
Barry Flash, Elongated man and I guess professor Pyg. Not super big on the newer overly violent/grotesque Batvillains. Looking at the collection yesterday and whilst there will always be ‘that’ figure that we never got - I have to be pleased with what we have. The figures and especially the Batmobile’s - some of McF’s best work.
 
I reallllllly hope that Rocket Red is the traditional one and not the modernized versions, which Mattel already did. Both types appeared in Generation Lost, so could be either, but c’mon Todd, do this right.
 
Zatanna, Black Canary, Barda, classic Harley, classic Poison Ivy & classic Cheetah all seem pretty essential women to get. I mean I would have named actual teen bodied Perez era Teen Titans too but that isn’t happening. My McF collection is limited to my central DC cast but sure I’m missing someone.

Man that's a great list of what's coming! I want most of them. On another i have now gotten my favorite Batman after putting the wire in both of my NML Batman. I cheated though and just slid the wire in the opening. It seems to stay in very well so far. I am too nervous to unglue neck and put in a full wire that way. This way serves my needs for what I want it to do.
