Star Wars Black Series

I still really want a new Threepio and a new old man Ben. And, ideally, a new Vader. Then I'd be comfortable saying I'm done with the stuff we're ever actually going to get.
 
Tarkin and Ben fall into that weird category for me- their existing figures are good enough, especially the updated Ben that came in the cantina set, so I don't need a redo. Would I buy one if they did it? Yeah, probably, depending on how much of an upgrade they really are. But I'm also totally cool keeping them as-is if need be.

3P0, however, I think could only benefit from an upgrade. Having gone over Phasma with a chrome paint pen recently and loving the result, I went and got a gold one too to go over 3P0, but part of me is still holding out hope for a new one, especially now that we've gotten a more correctly sized R2. I doubt it would be super chrome-y, so I may still hold on to this one and fudge it into another part of the collection, but I digress.

ESB Lando is another one that could greatly benefit from an upgrade, but given how poorly all of his figures seem to sell, I can see them holding off.
 
I finally got Han and Chewie. Han came yesterday, and Chewbacca just got here. Han Solo looks so good I'm actually going to keep my pre order on Hasbro Pulse and just get a second one. But both of these figures are great.

Now tomorrow I have to pre order EP III Obi Wan and Anakin.

With the Target Geek Out coming up, do we know of anything that's been revealed that would be exclusive for Black Series during this Geek Out? I couldn't think of anything. The only exclusive that's still coming I could think of that we know is the Palpatine vs. Windu 2 pack. But that shouldn't be a Target Exclusive.
 
I have the PotF2 Cinema Scenes homage 3pk of Kenobi, Evazan, and Ponda Baba but I bought it to keep unopened. And soon after, they released singles of the latter two. So an updated Kenobi is really necessary in my collection. I’ve still got the original on display. Threepio is also high on my wish list, just to match Artoo.
 
I wouldn't mind a new Ben, but Threepio needs an update the most. I currently have the one that came packed with Chewie (that can be disassembled) in my display, but he really could use an all new figure. They could reuse his parts for an Episode II version, as well as some other protocol droids (can't believe we haven't gotten AP-5, considering we have the rest of the Rebels crew).
 
AP-5 has been on my want list for a while now. I love that grumpy, Alan Rickman-esque droid. Have we gotten any Rebels figures in the new packaging? I can't honestly remember. I know that blind Kanan has been rumored for a while, but no updates. Old Man Rex would be nice too.
 
I don't think we've gotten any Rebels in the new packaging. Blind Kanan has been rumored, and I think there may have been a factory leak on some of his parts, but I may be mis-remembering that.

Old Man Rex would be an instant buy for me, along with AP-5. I'd also love to get Kallus, both in his Imperial attire, as well as his Fulcrum look.
 
Anyone get the update Kenobi or Anakin today?

I actually ended up getting x2 of each. They look really good, and being such definitive characters, I thought I'd buy extra backups. I hate that they were $27.99 each though on Pulse.
 
I skipped the duo today, I was in a municipal building for work and those things are like being inside a vault, just didn't have the time to find a good signal to order and I think I'm pretty happy with my existing Anakins and Kenobis.

Got shipping soon from Pulse for Dash Rendar, though! now if they'd just ship my damned Han to go with the new Chewie...

I got the same email for Dash as well ... along with ones for Han, Barriss Offee, and the Jedi Temple Guard.

All of them listed shipping dates in the past, but whatever! 😆

Woke up to shipping soon notices for all of these as well. My mail box is in TROUBLE this month.

Check, because if you didn't Dash is available again to pre order on Pulse. he's been sold out for some time but seems to be fully back up for pre order.

Also, I too got shipping notices for quite a few things from Pulse for Star Wars and GI Joe. Some of them were dates from the past, some of them are dates in the future. None of them were right now.

So, who knows what the Hell is coming and when. But Bariss, Dash, and Han were what I got notices for on Star Wars.
