This is what I'd rather have, honestly.Honestly, if they hew more to these types of looks for JD, I may not find it as compelling.

I have no particular attachment to the Jersey Devil. But I like random monster figures which can interact with a multitude of lines. So this really depends on its design. If it's Jersey Devil, that's an easy pass for me.
I am not a big enough cryptid fan to buy it, and I won't buy everything the 4H make, so hoping this ends up being a pass.
Fewer new parts that way, too.I bet if it is the Jersey Devil we see a a bit more beefy, demonic-looking than the classic spindly legged horse thing. I could see them taking inspiration from those drawings but I don't recall them ever releasing a figure that wasn't sturdy enough to pose and look menacing under its own power. If anything I'd be surprised if he wasn't a bit on the beefier side.
Maybe the Jersey Devil is just Krampus' east coast cousin. They don't see each other often, but always bicker over whose food is better- JD loves his pork roll, Krampus is partial to wienerschintzel. Krampus can't stand JD's salt water taffy, but JD can't stomach Krampus' marzipan. It basically writes itself.Probably won't be a release for me, but I'm curious to see what they come up with. Sure looks like Krampus reuse is in the cards based on some of the artwork being shared in here.
