Studio Series.

Yeah, I built what I have of Dev, then broke them down. Hook is fun. Really enjoy both of their transformations. Some fun tricks I'm not used to with the twists and shifts.
 
Just got Scavenger. He is a wonky looking bot. Vehicle mode is fine. Arm mode is fine. Took some time for me to convert the vehicles into the gestalt, couldn’t remember what to do with Long Haul’s arms. But combined, this figure looks so dope. Scavenger has a weak swivel for Devastator’s shoulder, looser than Bonecrusher. Not fond of that.

But overall, this has got me wanting Mixmaster yesterday. I will buy him the first place I see in stock. That’s partly why I’ve been checking Walmarts lately after seeing that some people have found him there.
 
I opened Megatron last night and transformed him… once I put him back in robot mode he’s probably never going back into tank mode lol. I don’t think that the tank mode is “awful” but transforming him was uh, pretty annoying tbh

I got the comic book one a few months ago, should have waited I guess lol.

But I’m definitely not going to get two of the same grimlock in different colors
 
Grimlock reissue is starting to get more common around here, telling me that people are finding Megatron a lot more now too. I had been hoping to get them both with the 20% off one-time use teacher coupon Target gives me, but I missed the expiration. I did find them both today, and grabbed Meg, but he was ringing up for 59.99. Got the cashier to match the 54.99 online price.
 
Grimlock is so cool. I was not tempted by the G2 because I just don't like those colors on him. I don't even remember that to be honest. But man the classic one. I don't even want any fake metallic effect, I think he looks cool as is. Pure joy turning him into a dinosaur and back. I think I'm going to keep him as a robot though because that gun looks awesome, and he towers over Optimus.

Megatron and the rest of my constructicons are due today. It's like a weekend of Transformers childhood dreams.
 
I picked up the Studio Series Megatron yesterday at a local Target.
