Oh man, no kidding! I saw it in the theater and haven't watched it since. I could barely see what was happening in a lot of scenes.the second feels a bit needlessly dark, literally and figuratively.
Agreed. It knows what it is and rolls with it. And I feel like the director, and definitely the guys who made the creatures, were fans of the original movies and had a good time making this. The second one didn't have that at all.But the first one is such a silly, shlocky monster mash that, as long as you aren't expecting anything of quality, can make for a pretty fun time!
