Loosecollector

The Skookam is kind of another word for Sasquatch. Many cultures have different names for it. And alot of them seem to be genetic variants like the Yeti and the Yowie. It would be like 2 different breeds of dogs. Same species, mostly the same genetics, but slightly different. Irc, the Skookam is said to be 1 of the more dangerous ones? There are a few names from different tribes and they all get mixed up in this head of mine.

Anyway, I saw them on BBTS and they looked really good. With as big a fan I am of cryptids, I can't get them at that price. I would absolutely love to. Maybe if they all go on sale lol.

Yeah, I haven't bit on any from the bigfoot wave so far. The one I'm closest to getting is the Yeti, love those horns. But it's just a little pricey and a little big, two things that weigh increasingly on my collecting. If they go on discount I'll probably pick up a yeti, but my guess is they aren't going on discount for a while.

Count me as a member of the I-Love-Cryptids-But-Can't-Afford-To-Get-These Club. I absolutely love the Yeti and Sasquatch figures they're doing, and Skookam will likely tempt me mightily...but these are just too pricey for my budget. Now, when it comes to the Chupacabra, I'll definitely be plunking down the cash for him, and if Mothman turns out well I'll be powerless to resist. Given how great these turned out, I have the feeling Mothman will be excellent, and I'll be very interested to see if they do things like Jersey Devil.

Ditto. I do think I might pick up a dogman as well so my big wolf can have a shorter companion. They've been teasing a giant Cthulhu and I'm interested in that, but I'm nearly certain I won't be able to get it just because of size and cost. I hope they do a smaller "star spawn" at some point using the same design.

I don’t have any of the werewolves, but knowing these are sharing a body, I’ve no inclination to pick up more than the Sasquatch.
Yeah, I don't think there's any reason to get all of them unless you're a completionist or a massive cryptid fan. But I don't know how they'd afford to have three noticeably different sculpts at this scale this early into their line. I'm sure tooling costs for these are pretty absurd.

I like the color scheme on the Skookum, but I don't like the pointy ears. If it came with an alt head repaint of the neutral Sasquatch head I'd order it.

Got that BBTS alternate color scheme Vampirella today after the sale hooked me. It's funny, I think the Frazetta version of her is just an overall higher quality figure, but the Loosecollector one is more fun to pose? If that makes any sense. Like they're both really good in very different ways. I'm also not usually a "leave the effects on" guy with bloos spatter and such but she looks really cool with the bloody claws. My only complaint is I cannot for hte life of me gett her thigh swivels to move. Am I crazy or are they really suppoesd to not move? I don't want to snap her lower legs off but she's SLIGHTLY off-center/pigeon-toed and I'd like to straighten out her gait.

Yeah, the loose collector one is more posable. Frazetta has the sculpt and proportions.

I did sell mine off, but I'm fairly sure that swivel is meant to move.

It is. Its a bit stiff so I'd be careful with it. Mine has really right joints, except her wrist hinges. Those are loose as the name suggests lol.
