Marvel Toys on Sale

I love that Nefaria. It's always the figures I love that no one else seems to buy. After collecting this line for more than 20 years it's only the deep cuts I care about anymore. Couldn't care less if I never see another Spider-Man, Wolverine or Captain America.

Oh trust me, Nefaria was the first figure from the wave that I opened. I was so happy to get him. But if I can find another one cheap I will do it.

I'm surprised about retro Shocker. That figure feels too old to be popping up at discount stores now.

Think I might’ve been late to the latest Ross drops. Not much out there around me.

I did find 2 Wolfsbanes and an X-men 97 purple Magneto though. Can’t beat that $5.99 but I still want to find some cheap Ka-Zar out there.

Exactly. I can still find Nefaria if I want, but that Shocker is one I’d be after.

Target has BNW Red Hulk on sale again, and this time he was in stock at my store so I grabbed him for around $24. He’s not bad, just generic. The film version looks so much like Harrison Ford. Sometimes I can’t see Ruffalo’s likeness in Hulk. I never saw Norton’s likeness. But Ford is super obvious to me, and I wish this figure had a head to reflect that. He’s even supposed to have ripped pants.

I'll say it again on Ross — those without stores aren't really missing much. The odds of ever finding any of this good stuff is pathetically low.

For instance, I hit up two Myrtle Beach area Ross' this morning and didn't see a Marvel Legend of any kind. DId see some of the wrestling figures mentioned at one of the stores.

I have a Ross 10 minutes from me and I have checked it maybe three times since all the Hasbro stuff started hitting them. Never found anything but what looked like the aftermath of an explosion.

So true about Ross. I almost never find anything good there. The score at a Ross is probably less likely than getting hit by lightning.
