G.I. Joe Classified Series

Totally forgot about Cold Slither earlier today and it was sold out when I remembered. Will try to catch it if it opens up again, if not, no worries.
 
I got some GI Joe's in the mail today. Retro Wave with Rock N Roll, Viper, and Mindbender, as well as Footloose, Blowtorch, and Heavy Duty. All of them look great. Heavy Duty was a favorite as a kid, so I'm really happy to get him.

I was surprised he has that alternate head with no hat. If he doesn't have on the green hat, what the hell are we even doing?

Luckily, I didn't want the Cold Slither set, but I missed all the Hasbro SDCC stuff since my internet was down all freaking day lol. No big deal though. None of it was must have for me.
 
It says preorder now — is that what it was yesterday or is another run in the works? Has a ship date of Sept. 17.

I really hope we see this happen with the other two sets.
 
Cool, hopefully they're doing another run of the Marvel and Star Wars sets as well.

Actually, it should just be part of the plan and they should let us know of that plan ahead of time, so the garbage that happened yesterday is avoidable to those of us who don't mind waiting a few weeks or months for a set.

This exactly. They didn't just decide to make more suddenly because if that was the case it would take much longer than the September date would suggest. These were already on the water.

Then the FOMO wouldn't kick in for everyone and sell it out. Hasbro snookered me again.
 
Got my Crystal Ball (x2).

Of course Walmart shipped them separately and in padded envelopes rather than a single box. Or 2 boxes. Thankfully no damage.

Can I just say Crystal Ball is fantastic. Bravo Lenny. Definitely a great Classified update to the character/figure. Now my desire for the Ghost Viper, to go with Crystal Ball, has gone way up. I was going to try and get 2 Ghost Vipers, but now I might go for 4 instead. Which would be pretty damn pricey.

No....stay strong.....just 2 Ghost Vipers.

I can't remember for certain, but I think it is going to be a Walmart exclusive which would probably mean it would go up for preorder during the fall Walmart Collector Con.
