General Marvel Legends

Retro collection wave 1 Electro showing as Feb 2026 preorder at BBTS. I'm wondering if this isn't like some of those older Wallgreens exclusives like Silver Surfer we saw go up a bit ago. I'm wondering what warehouse those have been sitting in and if we might see more.
 
That's actually great. I skipped him before because I had the skinny Electro and those black legs on that one have come to bother me.
 
This was a... definitive release. I think I actually did grab a second originally...
 
I guess this is the thread to write about Madame Masque and Crossbones. Awesome two-pack with some fun accessories.

Madame Masque was one of my most wanted female villains. She came out really nice. Love that she has both a modern magic style head sculpt and a classic look. Tempting to get a second of her to display both looks at the same time. The paintwork on her costume and magic mask are both really nice. For that modern appearance, it’s like the figure stepped right out of the comics. Very happy to have her!

Crossbones is an excellent upgrade. Love the strong yet balanced proportions. Really nice gear. I appreciate how the buckles, zipper, and bullet shells are all painted.

Agreed.

I picked up this pack even though the only connection I have to either character is Masque's brief appearance in the Hawkeye books, but I am susceptible to a cool looking figure, especially if it has that tacti-cool vibe. Really like how both came out. Crossbones is currently on my nightstand and I have him terrorize my cat before bed.

Agreed the paint apps on these are CRISP. Very solid figures. I might like it more if Masque had some more of that sweet Black Widow torso articulation, but she still looks damn good.
 
Got my Crossbones from splitting the set with Justice. He's neat. I do have some gripes, all with his lower half. FIrstly, his crotch piece exploded after moving his leg. Turns out the little bump on the hip bar that goes into the front of the crotch piece was poorly molded. Did some trimming and reassembling and it's better. But it leads to the other issue: his legs are really rubbery, especially his knees going side-to-side. This has to be my least favorite thing about certain Legends. One day you buy ROM or Secret Wars Spiderman and they have this nice hard plastic, then you get Crossbones and he's got noodle legs. Seems more common on pinned legs so I'd be fine with buying pinless moving forwards.

Negative aside, I enjoy this guy. I saw reviews saying his vest hindered his ab crunch but it works good enough. He's not going to be touching his toes but it's functional. His vest and belt are great, I like his colors and this is a nice overall sculpt. His arms and butterfly joints are some of the best in MLs especially for a big guy (although the front range could be better). Overall he's an okay Classified figure. Oh wait, wrong line. He's an above-average ML.

Gave mine a Valaverse rifle because his is shrimpy. Dunno why Hasbro insists on giving large characters tiny guns. Crossbones' rifle looks hilariously small. The handle doesn't even go down to his pinky in his hand.
