Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I haven't gotten into any animated lines. Though, I just got the Doc Strange/Morbius because I had to have that version of Michael, and Apocalypse really just to finally finish my BAF. I was luck with the latter as I got it heavily discounted, so it was like I paid for the head and got another large figure for free :) I was extremely tempted to get Maddy Pryor, but when I finally got it in my hands I fully realized I couldn't get past the skin color/paint to add to my X-Men display.
 
Yeah, I get X-Men 97 counts as Disney Plus but they are not MCU. Their comments still make me a little hopeful for Echo and Ironheart though.

That's just it, they are not MCU figures. So they hold no interest to me. I get that they sell. But if they do count as D+ stuff, then those are spots they are taking that could have gone to something I do want.
 
I think my only hope for Brand New Day right now is the villain(s), and I don't even know who that may be at the moment. We'll probably get villain figure(s) in 2028. If Hulk looks great, I know I'll be tempted there.

He named 9 for Doomsday, so maybe a wave and a set of two? Please please please, Ghost and Bucky.

I'm skeptical about Val and Void, but.... sure.

Yeah, same here. Hopefully later, but at this point I'm good on Spider-Man.... unless they do the black suit. heh. But now I'm really wanting to finish up my ideal villain shelf, so I need Hobgoblin, Scorpion, Shocker, etc. I know Negative Man is rumored (I don't know if that's genuine rumor or fanwish), and apparently Kingpin CAN appear as far as rights are concerned (I heard Marvel can use him on tv, Sony in movies), but I'm really not familiar with Negative Man and he definitely wasn't a villain in the comics when I was a kid, which is the entire basis for my wishlist anyway, and already have a Fisk.

Ah ha! heh. I know he was in the video game but I barely played it so definitely didn't see him, and haven't read any comics with him either. The movie will probably make him awesome and maybe I'll be tempted.

Mr Negative does appear to be the villain, and we'd better get him or whoever the villain ends up being. I have shit loads of Spider-Man. And Hulks. And they're doing a Born Again Punisher soon. So that's 3 repeat characters. I guess this could be a NWH situation where we get a crap Wave 1 and a 2nd wave 2 years later. But I would rather we just....get this done now lol

I get ya gotta get the most popular characters who sell in a wave. I get it. But I want more beyond these 3. Honestly, I would be more interested in a TIH 2 Pack of Abominantiom and Hulk from that movie than this!
 
Weird that we're getting Val before Bucky and Ghost but sure, I'll take it.

I'm excited for Cyclops, Mystique, Gambit and Nightcrawler but I really hope those don't prevent them to go back to the FOX movies. I just reeeeally want updated figures from the original movies because they hold a special place in my heart.

The one reasons I can SORT of see this being g viable is Void would be 100% reuse, and thus super cheap to do.

As for the Fox movies. I think getting that rumored wave that may or may not exist is best shot at getting them. Once Doomsday/Secret Wars comes and goes, the focus on MCU side will be the rebooted X-Men. Once the X-Men get rebooted, I think the odds of those ones coming go down severly
