Magic the Gathering Legends

The Stargod is unnerved by your suggestion that he doesn't count as classic!

Really looking forward to this one.

I'd have bit on battle damaged Spidey, but $40? Oof! No...I've have to pass.

I don't know how I read comics for so long in the 70s & 80s and came out with no recollection whatsoever of "Stargod" Man-Wolf. I wish this was the version I wanted, and if he weren't ridiculously priced I might have still picked him up anyway. The only good part for me is that this HAS to mean we will get classic Man-Wolf sooner rather than later, right? Right?

Holy guacamole! Thanks to your post I just ran a few searches and learned me some stuff! I was only familiar with Man Wolf in the yellow and green sleeveless jumpsuit. I had no idea he was a cosmic swashbuckler too! I thought everybody was merely settling for him because the old Toybiz figure was so obsolete.
Thanks for the edification!

I will fess up that I've never actually read the Man-Wolf miniseries where he went all cosmic - I learned about him through the OHOTMU, Dan Slott's She-Hulk and Wikipedia! With this figure coming that series is absolutely on my reading list!

I'm very happy to add Stargod to my Marvel Handbook 13 Legends recreation cover.

Mantis, Korvac, Bucky, Bill Foster's 70s costume, Changeling, Lilith Drake, Darkoth, Ulysses Bloodstone, Foolkiller, classic Dracula, Baron Blood, Air-Walker, classic skinny Drax, classic Gamora, Ancient One, Death-Stalker, It the Living Colossus - I want them all.

I hate my weak-willed ass. I knew I was getting Man-Wolf, but also got Spidey and MJ. Now I may cancel them in the future, but the pre-order surge got me.

I POed Man-Wolf and Battle damaged Spidey, but will most likely cancel Spidey. The more I look at it the more annoyed I get that I'm paying $15 for a single card that I don't care about.

I'm gonna fess up that I preordered Spidey and MJ too but as others have said, I just wanted to get an order in so I have the option to cancel later. Intentionally went with Amazon so I can without hesitation just drop that order in a few days if I have buyer's remorse. Man-Wolf though, I'm calling that excessive price just the cost of doing business to get a figure they've waited too long to make.

I had Spidey in my cart at Walmart and they pulled it out when I hit "purchase." I had a coupon, too.

That is... SUPER annoying. Now it says "100+ bought since yesterday" - is that number typically so low or did Walmart literally put up 100 of these for pre-order? Anti is also listed as 100+ and is not sold out, so curious if that number goes up.

He's still up on Pulse for preorder. Sold out on Amazon and Walmart really fast though.

I managed to snag all of these on Amazon but will probably end up canceling a couple. It comes out to $160 for four figures and four cards, and that's just insane.

Of course, these are the people who are charging 50 bucks for collector boosters as well...Literally just 15 pieces of paper.

Ugh....I hated that I preordered these but Legends is one of those things I'm extremely risk averse on missing.

It's not the biggest ripoff of the year for me. That's still gotta be the Jonah Hex BTAS stuff for sure.
