G.I. Joe Classified Series

Someone who has them... what are the Rattler figure numbers? Why can't I find pictures on line that show the numbers?

Hello all, piggy backing pretty hard on a lot of work done in this Hisstank.com thread. I thought we could do our own version, especially since that one hasn't been updated in several months. This can also serve as a handy checklist for the collection as a whole. Please, everyone feel free to weigh in on anything from corrections, formatting suggestions, and especially filling in gaps. I'm guessing between all of us, we've got every figure covered. I know it can be really tricky to determine where certain parts originated, but could be a fun project for all of us to get into. Heh... I had to split this year's listing because of the character limit for posts (there actually is one!), then accidentally lost the last ten before finishing that post, so I had to go re-research them. Thankfully they weren't the tough ones, and we'd mentioned a few here today so I could pick through the thread that way.
 
I keep saying I'd be interested in a Classified version of Dr. Venom since I assume they won't just do a regular looking guy in a lab coat, but I'm also curious if they would do more for a Scar-Face beyond a repainted Cobra Officer. Would they differentiate him even further from the Cobra Troopers and give him more of his own design?

First off: BIG yes to Dr Venom, and they could have a lot of fun with him.

As for Scarface: not a repaint, he should be a *debut* of an all-new(ish) pinless Officer build, in the comic “tan gear/red mask and logo” colors, with a Scar-Face head AND a “regular” Officer head (actually pack both of the heads that came with the Rattler Gunner, why not!), maybe even an Air Trooper helmet/mask as well, or even swappable tan Trooper gear and a helmet so it can be a comic-colors Trooper as well. HUGE army builder.

Then release a Retro Officer.

Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go home and open my CLAWs.

I'd be interested in Classified takes on Scarface and Dr. Venom as well. Dr. V and his brainwave scanner might be a cool deluxe release. The brainwave scanner makes frequent appearances in Larry Hama's GI Joe comic even though Dr. V himself has been dead since the 80's.

And let's not forget Quinn the Eskimo.

Definitely! I wouldn't want to go too far off book with it but spicing him up would be nice. I wonder if they could even suppose that he survived the grenade blast from the comic, now heavily scarred etc.

That would be cool.... but I could see that being used for a straight Rattler Gunner repaint release.

I imagine Mindbender was using it? If I can only get one mindbending Cobra scientist, I'm glad to have the one I do, but I do hope they go for the second one.

Definitely not, but I feel like he's the most likely of the three to get made.

Admission about the numbering thing: I cannot, I do not have the space to keep all my action figures in their boxes, but from the start I flattened out the exterior of all the Joes boxes with the intent of cutting all the numbers off with an exacto-knife so I could just have like, a bookmark-sized sliver of each package to keep with the figures. I never got around to cutting off the numbers. We're pushing 200 figures in the line. I have failed this city. The wobbling back and forth between panicking and recycling it all or spending five hours in the studio with a razor blade and a recycling bin is giving me an existential crisis and/or agita.
