Marvel Legends Gamerverse

No wonder they only ever show him crouched down. No way that’s replacing any previous Wolverine. Wonder why they had to scale him up so much. Is he depicted that much bigger in the game?

He looks tiny in the game as compared to everyone else, but just like the way they've been posing the figure he's always crouched down so who knows.

someone without cash has moved it somewhere other than the Marvel aisle intending to come back and get it later,
Because what do you do when you know you have no cash? Go out and hunt for action figure, of course. I'm not doubting what you're saying here. I KNOW this is what some collectors do.

I got lucky on this set and got a preorder in, besides that I've seen it twice in person already. So personally, the GI Joe Cobra Island stuff still takes my #1 spot for hunting headache in recent memory. My Thanos from this set has remained unsellable for the last two weeks.

LOL at the size on that Wolverine. It's like the TB wave 3 Wolverine......guy was huge.

That's most of the people that try and buy figures off me.

No, I don't want to trade, but imagine if you didn't buy those figures just to sit on them to barter with you would just have cash to barter with. Amazing. And no, I won't hold it for 4 weeks until you get your next paycheck. Do you see a blue light special and a layaway counter over here?

The missing set is the one I bought on Sunday and Breaker is my canceled pick-up order. They had five Breakers. Nothing in stock on Target.com.

I canceled my Breaker order I placed on Sunday morning at 3:30. The reason? I needed it sooner!

And of course I'm still waiting for the Psylocke from CMD when I could've bought a second set today.
Sigh. So happy I'll never see that. Thanks, Hasbro!

Well, fuck.

Yes actually he’s pretty bulky. Even when compared to characters like silver samurai and iceman he’s relatively tall when he’s standing up to his full height

So happy I passed on that Wolverine set. I have zero use for a wolverine that tall.

I concede its probably game accurate, but I don't care about the game or accuracy to its aesthetic so this was very much not for me.

I'm just here for Psylocke and Shuma Gorath

I am 100% fully in on a post-Fatal Attractions savage/feral Wolverine built on this body. Give him tattered clothes, bone claws, and alternate heads with wild wooly hair (one without a nose) and a bandana mask.

Yeah, I am in agreement about this. I was on the fence already since I'm happy with the Silver Samurai we already have and I have too many Wolverines already- just canceled my PO after seeing the size of Wolvie.

I’m still keeping mine. The mental image of Capcom wolvie has been my definitive version for such a long time that I have to get this figure, regardless of how tall it is. I mean it’s also been nearly 30 years since we’ve seen figures like this for both the X-Men vs Street Fighter series or the wave of Marvel vs Capcom figures from Toy Biz during the 5” era. I don’t think I can afford to sit this one out. Who knows when we are going to see an MvC inspired Wolverine on the shelves again? I don’t want to be 70 years of age when the next anniversary hits and a novelty like this swings back around.

This. I still VERY much want him.

He'll just hafta go with Animated & '97, instead of replacing my Love Triangle/Apocalypse combo in my main X-display.

I mean the only semi viable explanation I can justify as for why this Wolverine could fit into a 616 display is because he’s becoming more feral and that secondary mutation is becoming more apparent, even though he doesn’t have his bone claws quite yet. He can’t hold back the tide and that mutation is going to kick in whether he likes it or not.

And that is kind of how it worked in the 90’s, I mean even by 93-94 he was huge and far more prone to berserker rages both pre fatal attractions and post. There wasn’t a lot holding his instincts back and on occasion he was almost as vicious as Sabretooth.

I didn't realize Capcom Logan was so tall. I've always hated how the Mafex Wolverine is too tall, but now I'm wondering if they were more true to their reference art at Capcom than I realized. I always assumed their reference art was from Capcom since their tiger stripe Wolverine has blue tiger stripes and some of the art in the game shows him with stripes that color.

More or less yeah he is meant to be based on the capcom designs but it took more inspiration from Jim Lee than Bengus since he wasn’t overly muscular and the fins on his boot tips and mask were still a little short by capcom standards. Also that unmasked head is pure Jim Lee
