Hulk Retro Wave?

So there’s a rumor about Abomination now, right? That would be awesome to get a new comic version. The Gamerverse version was nice, but he needs a comic head.

I’d love to finally get the U-Foes! They would make for such eye-catching figures. And they fit with Hasbro’s current Dark Reign theme since they played such a big role with starting off the Siege storyline.

Zzaxx would make for such a cool looking figure, too.

And definitely need a redo of Doc Samson.

I would be so very happy to get Hulk figures and retro cardbacks. I could see 1-2 being MTO. 2 packs make sense. I'm down for whatever and like the lists here, but would really like World War Hulk revisited in figure form. That would be an awesome line. So toyetic.

I know this is off-topic, but what was that line called we got in 2008 that had Bi-Beast and Ironclad in it? And what scale were they in?

I think you're talking about the Incredible Hulk movie tie-in wave. A loose tie-in, since that Bi-Beast (and maybe Ironclad) designs were from a video game. I think they were 5" scale - if they had been 6" I would own them as a fill-in while we wait (still!) for comic versions.

Yes, what hmmberto said. These were based upon that video game that released around the same time as that 2008 movie. I still have both figures. They're both just slightly under 6" tall. I don't know for certain what scale they were going for here but they did release one or two 1/18th scale Hulkbuster solders (with very limited articulation) in the same wave if I remember correctly. I've got both Bi-Beast and Ironclad in my Legends display, but they're certainly undersized. We certainly need true 1/12th scale Legends upgrades for both. The Legends team teased us with a proper Bi-Beast prototype at a convention years ago but he sadly never got released.

I was always mad this Bi-Beast wasn't released, though even he was smaller than what I want.
OH, what could (and should!) have been. That's the War Hulk body, right? If that had been made it would still be serving it's purpose admirably on my shelf. Alas.

There are several things from that SDCC in 2009 that haven't been made 16 years later. Bi-Beast, Terror Inc, X-Factor Investigations Madrox, a classic Ms Marvel, white Phoenix, classic Brother Voodoo, unmasked/modern Havok. I'd throw all white/non-X-Force Fantomex in that mix too. https://forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/141348/new-marvel-legends-sdcc-09

Absolutely was. I actually still have War Hulk in my display next to Apocalypse. Yeah, he's a bit small now, and I'd happily take an update, but he works.

Man, going through those old pics, and it's amazing how much Legends have improved since the dark days. Night and day difference, but then again, so's the price.

I got rid of War Hulk years ago when I was trying to pare down to one version of each character. That effort didn't last long, and now I wish War Hulk was among my multiple Hulks collection.

I never got War Hulk because I hated the head sculpt. It’s how I feel about the toothy head sculpt from Max Hulk.

While I agree that head sculpt is bad, mine always has the mask on, so no biggie for me.
