NECA - General Thread

I saw parts of it in the background of a pic. If they improved the tailoring on their clothes I would 100% be in for another set of the old broads. Especially if they used digital face printing.

Haha, they took the little creature away from the Predator: Badlands 2-pack display and claimed they haven't revealed it yet. :) Must've gotten a wrist slap for having it out.

I wonder if this was a bad showing because they can truck stuff across state lines cheaper than flying it across the country so this was just an out now/Fall Geek Out showing saving the good for NYCC in October.

That said… Universal Monsters (and probably Hammer) are probably dead right? No new reveals except for those “bendy” homages (which conveniently don’t need to pay actor likeness rights) and Metaluna and Red Death are technically public domain not Universal… the two unreleased* Monster Turtles also aren’t cobranded like Shredder in the display next to them (they also aren’t Universal Monsters, Metaluna is public domain and even if he wasn’t that Krang is 90% Robot Monster anyway)

*also Q2 2026 release date?!?! That’s a fake release date, they want to pretend the line isn’t dead so you buy all three Shredder repaints but those figures aren’t coming out!

Man these are perfect. I grew up watching the Munsters on dvd, these really mean a lot to me! I didn't think Neca would do the originals after doing figures for the poorly recieved new movie. But here they are! And they got them so right, the likenesses are incredible! Some great accessories too. Man, when Neca hits, they hit a homerun.

Universal is likely dead.
Hammer is more than likely, most probably, dead.
The Turtle Monsters, of anything shown, are guaranteed to come out.

I was so badly hoping for a Fly reveal, either classic or Cronenberg. I'm still so, so bummed out that The Thing is pretty clearly over.

Blaine did say in Pixel Dan's video that they're going to be continuing with reveals and product drops after the show, though.
