RESULTS ARE IN! The Official Articulated Thoughts 2025 Top 10 Poll

Yeah I don't understand the Bucky reluctance. Got the door slammed in my face HARD on comic M'baku, too, though. Apparently its horribly offensive to black people - with the exception of every black person I know,, including my siblings, nephew, and best friend somehow.
Okay, but have you considered how offensive it is to middle-aged white women? If you really think about it, you're being kind of self-centered right now. Have you even stopped to think about how Jennyfer (with a y) is going to feel seeing a figure like that when it was dumped in the Asian food aisle at Walmart? How will she explain an action figure like that to her theoretical nieces and nephews one day?

Great set, but I'm surprised that Stegron isn't one of the cards.
Good catch! I ended up having to make an editorial decision and drop Stegron, even though he was tied with Armor in that category. I needed to make the counts round out, and unfortunately he got the short end of the stick. Sincerest apologies to Stegron - we'll make it up to him next time!

Absolutely fantastic work! I don't collect cards, but these would be an exception. Well done to everyone involved and a special shout out to hmmberto's wife. I great spouse it the best of treasures.
It's very true, and she is the best. Despite a complete lack of interest herself in comics/figures/general nerd stuff (she'll tell you that she *might* remember seeing Spider-Man 2, but she's not quite sure - which one was that again?) she was more than happy to pitch in on this. Rest assured I'm letting her know it was well received!

Thanks all for the kind words! I'm glad we were able to do a small thing to celebrate and put the word out about our online community here, which I'm very grateful to have.

Given the positive feedback we got at the fucking Hasbro Marvel Legends panel (!), I think we're going to have to keep the cards going. Even if I have to amateurishly draw them by hand with a pack of Crayolas. Let's all hope it doesn't come to that.
Oh, we'll absolutely keep it going. I had a blast doing it, and now we've got templates built, know what to expect from the printing process, and I've got a bunch of ideas on improvements, etc. I'm definitely down for some bonus "TSI Crayola Series" cards, though!

@SDcomics did they say what the reluctance was behind Bucky? Seems an odd line in the sand for execs.
Okay, I took a quick dive in the Hasbro booth (it's way crowded in there and I don't like it) to ask Dwight about Bucky and Toro and why the higher up's won't approve them. Simple answer: because they don't think they'll sell.

It's not an aversion to teens, it's not an aversion to the Golden Age, it's just that they don't think they'll sell.

But he said don't give up hope. After all, they're doing Man-Wolf and Starfox and they're not exactly household names. And execs can change. Whoever's in charge this week may not be there next week.

I'll have more to say later. Right now I'm eating some delicious Thunderbolts ice cream. It's American Shield. Vanilla soft serve with blueberry topping and red sprinkles. Red, white and blue. Get it? And I got a Pic of me on the Wheaties box. I'm having a blast.

I think a 2 pack WWII Cap with original shield and bare neck with Bucky would sell amazingly well.

Yeah, Bucky and Toro won't sell. Bucky especially doesn't have a name recognition factor from the films or anything like that. Bucky who?
However, Warbow is such a key player in Marvel comics and has been in so many stories he's sure to sell...
They obviously have a huge aversion to anything Timely Comics related besides Cap and Namor it's ridiculous.

Well done! That is very cool and it’s nice to hear the folks at Hasbro responded positively to the set and seemed genuinely amused. Whether any of these get made or not, it just strikes me as a fun thing to do a d that’s what this hobby should be all about.

I think the most obvious answer to getting that classic Bucky is, and I know instantly people would be mad, you'd have to make a Captain America that's high demand. Like the Renew Your Vows Spider-Man was at the time. Some Cap that offers something people really want but haven't gotten yet. Then you 2 pack it. But yeah, I don't think Bucky on his own would sell
