Jada Toys Scooby Doo

There is always that tricky balance of getting things done quickly but also saving things to keep the line going longer. I don’t feel there is any shortage of cool monsters for them to do though. Honestly they could get to the point it’s just 3 monster waves and I’d be happy with that if we have the full gang at that point.
 
My biggest problem with the Sea Demon isn't just that I don't remember him, but that there are similar water based villains I would strongly prefer, to fill that same role. Mostly the Beast of Bottomless Lake & the Ghost of Captain Cutler.
 
I think Scooby looks good. I wouldn't worry about the plastic color yet. Convention lighting is harsh and who knows what stage of production these are in. I'm guessing we won't see them until at least January.

I'm actually rather surprised Captain Cutler isn't being released ahead of any other water themed monsters. He seems like a more iconic choice, but I guess they want the line to represent all eras? Or maybe they are really wanting to have the Scooby-fied versions of Universal Monsters to be represented out the gate? Cutler just has to be in the line sooner rather than later though.

I'd definitely be down for Beast of the Bottomless Lake. He'd probably be top-heavy as hell, and I'd imagine he'd be a consistent shelf-diver, but maybe they can use his tail to balance him out?
 
Scoob's face looks real weird here, they need to improve that before release. And of course, those joints could work if they're tight, else Scoob will be laying in shambles!

I too agree it's a strange choice for the villain, there's so many cooler designs in the series for them to waste a spot (and like half a year of production) on such a guy. I just hope we get to see the next gang member.
 
I was just casually curious about the line with no interest or need but then I saw the pics of Daphne and Scooby and Robo's review showing how they'll scale with other lines and now I'm like... oh dammit, I'll probably end up getting at least the core gang.
 
Heeelllllls yeah, Space Kook! Nice to see Daphne; I would've preferred Velma, I think, but nice to see Daphne first, who I'm not sure would sell as well as Velma or Fred, so nice to get her out of the way, especially for those 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo lovers
 
The Scooby stuff all looks great. Love Scooby and the 2 new monsters from Wave 2, and I'm glad Daphne is coming in Wave 3. I wonder if Scrappy Doo could be packed in with someone like Daphne. He's too little to get released on his own. But I really hope we get him.

Did anyone hear when Wave 2 might go up for pre order?
 
Oh, man. 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo is another memory unlocked. I remember those mischievous ghosts.
