Since they keep throwing up new lines, maybe a general BBWS thread is needed. How about these NPC figures? Looks like everybody is getting into the background character game for dioramas. I'm INTO it. Love the mob boss, the doctor (I think?) and even think the cheerleader is a good idea for all the horror toy collectors out there.

Dang it. They all look good. This is probably the company that has Mr hooked the most right now.

These are great!
EAP is amazing, and WOW that exorcist priest!! Just the kind of thing I always wanted but assumed would never be made due to pearls-clutching Satanic Panic Walmart evangelicals.

A PRIEST! That's what he is. The photos were a little small on my screen and I thought it was a stethoscope around his neck. Oh that's terrific. Love it.

I'm also just now noticing "mob boss includes mob cat". Amazing. 10/10. No notes.

I need a jock and a nerd to go with the cheerleader for more slasher victims.
There's a lot this line makes me think of. I do think they can get a nice reuse of some other stuff and give us a typical mad doctor. I think we could get some more crime dudes. Maybe your classic 80's mohawk punk for Spock, the Terminator, and Punisher to knock around. Or, if you know more about punks, you use the punks to punch some fascists in your display. Either or!

I could possibly use some generic army brass and soldiers for Hulk to terrorize. Liking the generic mobsters as well.

They've got the soldiers and generals accounted for in the Soldiers of Fortune and Monster Force line. Generic government agents too. And they're releasing head packs for those as well. We've even got modern AND 20's style goons coming with the Circuit Syndicate in Longbox Heroes. If you're looking for good background characters of a wide variety, BBWS/FMF is setting you up.

I think the Poe tease has set me up for a big disappointment. Based on their previous weirdo characters, I was looking forward to colorful characters based on Poe stories like a Raven man or a Red Death. I wasn't expecting just a basic Poe.

The props are cool, though. There's even a little magic wand. I wonder if the bookshelf is included.

I'm not very interested in NPCs/Extras as figures. I don't have the display space and I don't do toy photography. Buuuuut... a cheerleader feels kind of out there. I could probably gear her up as a Buffy-like vampire slayer who teams up with Van Helsing.

These are friggin' great! I love the very idea of them, and they are far more dynamic than any previous "civilian" figures that have been offered by other companies in the past. That cheerleader will DEFINITELY be meeting her fate at the hands of Jason Voorhees in my display! The priest is a must-buy as well...so many options for him.

I have to think that's coming later int he line. This is just what they've got for now.

I would almost bet money she'll either come with some Buffy style accessories or get reused in Monster Force to do exactly that.

The NPCs aren't for everybody, but I've been wanting a line like that for a while and this is actually even broader than anything I'd thought about. It's way cool. I figure most folks would get one, maybe two depending on what their collection looks like. The mob guy and bank robbers are catnip for Batman or street level Marvel collectors. Priest and cheerleader for horror folks. It's a smart line for what it's doing.

I was most excited to see Eagle Force officially previewed. I've admired a lot of the 1/18 line from afar... so to see them bringing those to 1/12 is awesome... but I'm going to be so broke. The civilians line is definitely way better than I expected it to be.

And they told me that the Monster Force Wave 2 just arrived in their warehouse and should be getting distributed soon.
