Naughty or Nice by Fresh Monkey Fiction

I will be curious to see the reaction to that Mrs. Claus.

Wondering if this might be the "Naughty" style that works for things like the pirate Santa, maybe Father Christmas, Mall Santa, Cyborg Santa, etc., and maybe a "Nice" version that is closer to tradition for basic Santa, Great Northern, Storyteller...
 
I think she's definitely the "nice" version given her overall appearance. They just made her conventionally hot probably because they're afraid an old lady toy won't sell.

Sorry, I've taken it upon myself to get one skeleton action figure from as many different lines as I can, so another one (and from a company whose products I am very much enjoying) makes me very excited, lol.
 
Yeah not what I was looking for in a Mrs. Claus at all. Oh well. She's not as sexed up as she COULD be, but that's a sculpt of a young woman through and through and it's a little weird to have her next to a the Jolly -OLD- Elf. I'm sure they'll slap some grey hair on her and call it a day. If they weren't going to give her a heavier body type (which I'd have preferred) they could do an older face. That way they could reuse it over in Monster force to have their version of an aging, monster-hunting, former final girl a la Sarah Conner, Laurie Strode, etc. I dunno, maybe that's still an option.

Poe looks good, as do all the Monster Force guys. Mr. Legacy actually looks cooler than I expected.

Mrs. Claus isn't really my minds-eye version of her, but I guess if she has grey hair she'll be okay. I'm sure they didn't see much potential for reuse in an old, chubby lady body, so they are using parts that can also be used in other lines like Monster Force. I guess I'll take this rather than not having Mrs. Claus at all. I'm wondering if we'll also see a female Krampus? Seems like a no-brainer to me, though I'd MUCH rather see them do some other female characters from folklore like Frau Perchta.

I agree this is almost certainly the reasoning, but it give me two thoughts. For one, they've already tried to use Santa in the other Naughty or Nice line, and I think she'd work just as well there. Second, still doesn't quite cover why her face is so youthful too. Minus what will almost certainly be gray hair, you could easily assume this was Santa's daughter rather than his wife. An older face would make that less jarring. Like, she doesn't have to be heavier, she could just be a more slim Aunt May Parker style.
 
Seems like they could have used an overlay to make her chubbier which I assume would be cheaper than sculpting the torso fully. This is all probably why an obvious pick like a Mrs. Claus has taken so long though. All of the other Santas don't really need their own counterpart other than doing a black version. Or maybe there is more of a market for a zombie Mrs. Claus than I'm assuming? I'm guessing they'll do some kind of snow queen and maybe a femme Krampus though I can't think of much else.

I assume we will only get Mrs Claus counterparts for the most popular Santas. So Krampus, a commando maybe, a zombie, a couple of others. I don't think I'll be getting a Mrs Cyborg Santa.
