Marvel Legends Gamerverse

Psylocke is a lot of fun - but the paint on her hair is bothering me. It's so black-washed on top it barely looks purple and then no black at all on the underside so it's all purple - that should be reversed at the very least. But then the black wash on the top side ends before the tips of her hair so they are just plain purple as well.

Really weird decisions affecting both heads.

Also, for anyone wondering, the Training Uniform three-pack Psylocke head does fit on the new body, but it's a slight darker skintone and rides a tiny bit high.
 
Pretty much every Target in my area is showing up as having these in stock on Popfindr. I’ve had luck in the past with putting in early morning release day pick up orders on Target exclusives, anyone have any idea when their websites unlocks for stuff like this? Would it be midnight central time since they’re HQ’d there?

Otherwise I’ll try and pick a store that’s the most remote and try and be there at open.

I don't have the set yet but the reviews I saw suggest that the slashing effects are meant to go on the two hands that have two fingers sticking out, but that you can jam it onto most of the hands.
 
I went to compare Psylocke to Carol Danvers, since the cut of their costumes is pretty similar on the torso. Nothing in common, no reuse at all. Psylocke’s costume seams are fully sculpted! Danvers just uses paint. And Psylocke so far has the best functioning butterfly joints on a female. They really went all out, improving on even some of the most recent articulation updates. I really can’t wait til they make Elektra on this body.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t there a variant of Shadowcat’s costume that is thematically similar to this version of Psylocke? Also I think Wild Thing from MC2 wears something similar to this outfit but in yellow

Just cracked open the Psylocke set - I don't think I can say anything new others haven't already said. She's a gorgeous figure. My highest praise is: I want to have her square off with my Jada Toys Street Fighter figures. I'm sure there are nitpicks to be had, but for a fan favorite who's really been under-repped in this line to get a proper, dedicated remake? Just amazing. I do wish she had a sword since she comes with a hand to hold it, but I know that's not on theme for the Gamerverse version - assuming it's there because she'll be re-released alone later with a different paint job and accessories.

Thanos is... a perfectly find Thanos, a good pickup for anyone who doesn't have a Thanos. I like the softer blue of his uniform - it's actually pretty striking in-hand. But he is absolutely a Psylocke accessory in this set.
 
Man, I'm jealous. My Psylocke set shipped and will be here Monday, but I leave tomorrow for San Diego to be at ComicCon, and so won't get to unbox and open it for another week.
 
Well, I stayed up late up hoping to be able to get a order in at midnight, but Psylocke/Thanos never came available. I guess that I'll check periodically throughout the night and plan on getting up at being at my store at 7AM when it opens. I'm jealous of those of you that were successful in getting pre-orders in to be able to avoid that hassle. I did this for Warbird also, but it didn't help and I still had to buy her on ebay for double retail price.

You're not alone. This is a nightmare.
 
It can take awhile to appear. I’m up now and checking periodically. I successfully did this with Warbird last year. I wish I could find a time stamp on when I placed that order, but the online receipt only shows what time I picked it up.

It’s ridiculous to have to jump through these hoops. I’m getting too old for this shiznit.
 
Even though I already have a set I decided to take a causal glance on the app to see if this set restocked but came up nil.

Sorry guys….its a damn crime y’all have to go through this…

So... was it midnight ET? CT? Almost every store in the Seattle area had three in stock this afternoon. They're all gone now. I never saw it pop up online.

What a shitshow. Someone severely underestimated demand.

Edit: Folks on Reddit are saying this is the case across the country. More likely a system glitch than a full sell-out.

Nonetheless, I stand by my comments.
