G.I. Joe Classified Series

Just noticed I got a tracking number for a S.N.A.K.E. about 2.5 hours ago. I ordered two in separate orders, but one is still in progress.
I thought the email was for the Claw.

I'm generally not a fan of gaslighting, but have you considered acting shocked when it shows up and asking her "how did you know I wanted this?"
 
My partner doesn't really care what I buy because I have no real spending habits beyond miniatures painting (and I paint the cheap stuff, not Games Workshop or anything like that) and then action figures, but she has no concept of what I own other than my running list of what to sell to pay for my funeral when she outlives me. Hilariously, I had a stupid, long-overdue Kickstarter showing up around the same time as the Rattler and when I was anxious about being home to sign for it, she was like WHAT on EARTH did you ORDER?

Did I sneak it into my studio like I'd bought drugs? YES, yes I did. Mostly because I can explain kickstarting a bunch of minis because I'll paint them for months, but if she asks what I'm going to do with the Rattler, my answer is mostly "I am going to stare at it and try to feel something in this dark and fallen world, darling"

She doesn’t care much, but she will question where I plan on putting it.

That is a very good question really.
 
Not terribly interesting but I'm blown away by how much cooler my Hisstank shelf looks now with a Stinger and HMS set. They really all look great together! Glad I picked up the HMS during the liquidation 10% off clearance fire sale, mostly just wanted the Tech Viper.

Question for everyone. I just looked at my Target order for Breaker (was curious since my Psylocke had shipped) and it says back ordered. Does that pretty much mean they will end up canceling it? Really hoping to not have to go to eBay to track him down especially since I preordered him.

I've had stuff go to backordered before and I think like once or twice out of maybe ten times the order got canceled, so it's not 100% it'll ship but most of the time it just shipped later. Most of the times I've had it backordered I got an email 48 hours later saying it was back to normal. I think it's frequently them juggling which warehouses the stock is in.
 
Yeah, I know I've had at least one order through Target cancelled when they did the whole "respond to this email if you want us to not cancel your order" thing which I didn't comprehend until it was too late. Walmart is a whole other thing. I never order anything from them without assuming I'll never see it.

I went back for Breaker tonight. They still had the full peg of six figures from three days before. Either Breaker is unpopular or he's street dated in which case surely, SURELY they would have pulled him off the peg by now. Nope, he's street dated for tomorrow. The cashier had the same issue a few days before. Guess no one cared enough to fix it. It's such BS.
