Also, it kind of fits into the Monty Python/Mel Brooks mold and I never found either of them funny (I'm just piling on to the disappointment). What?
WHAT?!?!
Eh, yeah probably.

The director went to my school so I feel kind of bad saying it but I dislike near enough everything of his I've seen. The only film he's done that I did enjoy was Free Fire.Caught up on some movies this week while my wife and kids are on a trip.
A Field in England - was hoping for Eggers vibes but it was more "student film" vibes. Some genuinely funny moments, but overall it was a miss for me.
I can honestly say, and I have a nearly photographic memory for stories, I have no idea if I ever got around to watching the third John Wick movie. I got 35 minutes into the second one before realizing I'd already seen it. I get the appeal but for me to forget I saw a movie is pretty much unheard of. Like I can quote dialogue from Monsters Ball and I saw that in the theaters once.I think I've brought this up before, but I've noticed severe disinterest for me when it comes to sequels to movies I REALLY enjoyed. I think it goes back to how much I didn't like the Bourne sequels and wish I'd left it at Bourne Identity. So I haven't watched John Wick 2 etc, and not sure I'll watch Accountant 2 either.
