2025-2026 Rumor/Leak List - UPDATED List 9-9-25 (after the livestream)

Titania got an entirely new sculpt that will be difficult to reuse on anyone.

I honestly had to think hard if I sold the old Absorbing Man BAF but nope! - he's so far back in a low shelf.

The trouble is that I would enthusiastically buy an updated, pinless Doom with the lazer gun and rifle and the ability to store them on his thigh-strap and back, respectively. I’d also buy a pinless, updated Zemo, Electro, Iceman . . . and of course Ock with bendy tentacles.

There may be hope for a proper Volcana in this wave, just like Titania in wave 1. Daredevil and Spider-Man we can assume will be almost entirely reused, and should carry the bulk of the sales. Hopefully all the love can go into Constrictor, Falcon, Absorbing Man, and our mysterious last figure.

Hobgoblin is probably the last comic figure I'd be tempted to get..I don't know that I trust Marvel to put him in the movies, and even then I don't know it would be a movie-ized in a way I want on the shelf (for instance, I never liked Raimi's GG). And Hobgoblin is by far my favorite Spider-Man villain so I want him just right.

I put the Toybiz Hobgoblin head and cloak/cape on the Hasbro body one and honestly, it's pretty much perfect. The colors perfectly match, and the only "complaint" would be it has pins. Did the same for Green Goblin.

Heh. I never, ever trust the movies to do better than the comics, especially for villain designs, ESPECIALLY for Spidey villains. Beetleborg Gobby was . . . well, let’s just say young-20something me walked out of that theatre pretty much crushed overall, and not just with the designs.

I need, need, NEED a modern-tooling, pinless, original-flavor Hobgoblin, [unrevealed]Kingsley NOT Macendale, with that “one eye kinda bugged out” classic portrait and also a “can’t see the face inside the hood but can see red eyes” portrait. OH and a glider without holes under the foot-clips.

I really hope the extra figure is Volcana, but she needs to be thick. I have a Brutal Realm female barbarian blank figure on pre-order just to make Volcana. I'd love to cancel it for an official version.

Since the five rumored/leaked Secret Wars figures are all updates to existing figures, it would be nice if figure #6 is a character that's never been made before.
This seems to be a popular line. It will probably continue past Wave II. Plenty of figures to choose from for a third wave - Kang, Dr. Doom, Iceman, Hobgoblin, Doc Ock, Magneto, Baron Zemo and Electro from the toy line and any character that has appeared in any of the various Secret Wars comic series.
I just hope for waves like this, Hasbro includes female characters and never been made before characters.

Eh... I get your point. And I can't fully explain why I have my approach to legends that I have, where I want movie versions of the characters but as close to comic suits as possible. Like my ultimate Cap would be a cross between his Endgame suit and his Age Of Ultron suit, because it would be just like his comic one. I want Cyclops from the end of Apocalypse because it's like his comic one etc.
ESPECIALLY for Spidey villains.

Well let's just say... More then, because I feel the same. Spiderman and Star Wars were my big things as a young kid and they stayed with me well into high school, but I was in my twenties when the Raimi movies came out and I just never connected with them. Particularly the designs. Well I was okay with Doc Ock, and Sandman was pretty faithful, but I never liked the Spider suit. But I really just didn't like Raimi's style or the tone. I'm not saying Nolan it up but the cheese. The Adam West quality I guess. It just wasn't for me. And that's why I still maintain the third one is no worse than the others because I feel all emo Peter dancing in a jazz club fits right in with the rest of it.

Because of when I was reading the comics, Hobgoblin is my favorite Spider-Man villain, and like you said, NOT the Macendale one. The cunning mob enforcer who kept setting up there to take his fall etc.

I feel like we discussed this before and how appalling it is when people froth all over themselves about movie Ned becoming the Hobgoblin. First off, the best friend becoming a goblin has been done..twice..and sucked both times, so no. And secondly, NED WAS NEVER REALLY THE HOBGOBLIN ANYWAY!

I would LOVE that. The can't-see-the-face-with-red-eyes is the look they should do in the movies! The mask probably can't really work. Or they won't commit to it anyway, and that could be real creepy.

I have two comic figures because I didn't believe they'd appear in the movies..one is Ares, but I painted his armor metallic bronze to 'real' him up. And I have the Doom with the dark green that had two heads, as I feel he is realistic-passable as is. And I kinda suspect he'll still be on the shelf after Doomsday. But either way, I would jump on a Hobgoblin that was comparable.

Sooooo agreed about the Raimi “tone”. It made me seethe. Also: Doc Ock is my favorite Spidey villain, and while I have no particular issue with the movie costume (it’s cool, actually, other than the overdesigned tentacles) but they utterly DESTROYED his character with the whole “sad boi controlled by his arms” “I WON’T DIE A MONSTER” garbage. There are far more than enough villains who are “misunderstood” or “have a secret heart of gold” or “didn’t really mean to”. I actually think it has done harm to us as a society to do so much media apologism for bad guys, and also to have so-called “good guys” who talk and act like real-world bad guys *cough*MCU Tony Stark*cough*.

How would you feel if they did a version of Superior Spider-Man on screen? Maybe if they were to do an Amazing Spider-Man 3, but I just think the idea of him taking over Peter's body and getting degrees and actually being a better Spider-Man is too funny, even though that does play into the plots you can't stand heh.

I've enjoyed all the Tom.Holland movies but Homecoming stands out to me because, yes there are big effects and such, but no big blue lights into the sky or world ending stakes. It's the friendly neighborhood Spiderman in over his head trying to stop a big heist. I liked Far From Home and No Way Home, absolutely,.but I would really love Brand New Day to be more about street level villains, along with, yes, Hobgoblin. Even if his design sucks.

Honestly I just want to see a straight take on Spidey FOR ONCE. Not cheezball Raimi, not “the story you HAVEN’T heard” and definitely DEFINITELY not Iron-Robin press-ganged child-soldier who can’t do anything by himself and whose arch enemies are from other frigging dimensions.
I just want someone to make a standalone Spidey movie that isn’t a “take” and isn’t bogged down with a bunch of corporate continuity.
I would absolutely love to see that, just once.

Oh, getting back to the lower stakes and fun tone of Homecoming... After Daredevil, I feel Spider-Man could REALLY carry a multi season, ongoing series. I have no idea how to figure the budget for that, but it's gotta be cheaper than the Lord of the Rings show, and absolutely would get more viewers even if it sucked.
