Star Wars Black Series

I'm -fairly- sure Canadian stock comes through US ports first in cases like this, since most retailers in Canada get their product through US-based vendors (whether it's directly from Hasbro or through your Diamond Distributors or whatever).
 
Some Transformers got pushed back on Pulse to 9/1 as well. I don't take them with much faith though. Another transformer from the same wave, which is also at my local Target, has already shipped.
 
Yeah, things have been all sorts of wonky lately- even moreso than usual. With SM-33, for instance, I initially got a notice saying he was pushed back to mid August, then like a day later saying that he would ship the next day. I think a lot of places are still playing catch-up with all the tariff nonsense, and throwing out placeholder dates until they have a better handle on things. Seeing as how the wave already started showing up at Disney (Land, at least- not sure about World), I can't imagine the rest of the country would be that far behind. Then again, what Disney wants, Disney gets, so you never know.
 
I got Bazel because he was on sale. He's a cool ass little figure. And I liked the character. But this was not a $25 figure. I'm glad I paid sale price.

Just some random Black Series happenings in the life of Super Camel today.

I was going through a tote of mine where I have extra figures, and I found a bunch of extra Star Wars Black Series figures I had. Dooku,Plo Koon, Padawan Anakin, Darth Nihilus, Season One Mandalorian, and The Armorer.

I just brought them all upstairs and opened them up. I always buy 2 of Jedi and Sith and open them, but I don't know why I didn't open these. But they are loose now.

I added several things to my watch list today on Amazon, hoping they go on sale on the 8th during Amazon's Prime sales. Just figures I'd like to have extras of.

I love when that happens! I had that happen a few weeks ago with a bunch of Jurassic dinos. It's even better when you find them and you haven't bought extras to replace them because you thought you'd lost them. 😅

Overall, I'm glad Hasbro gave us most of the big players from The Acolyte (with the Stranger being revealed at SDCC apparently). I'd still get figures of Torbin, Osha's final look, Mother Aniseya and Mother Koril because I'm such a TBS sucker and completist. I'd even get the Jedi redshirts from the fight with Qimir.

I don't think Darth Plagueis was on-screen long enough for us to even get a good look at him, sadly.

I honestly would buy all of those. I really enjoyed Acolyte for what it was and I love that they had the guts to actually commit to most of the core cast. If we only get the Stranger, I still think they did a bang-up job covering the characters (now that i think of it, they also did a hell of a job getting the Skeleton crew figures made... there's one or two characters I'd like from that show but only because I personally liked their design, not because I think they're NEEDED for the set).

Weirdly enough, Andor did not share that commitment from Hasbro. Even with the Season 1 wave, we barely got the main characters. And Season 2's offerings didn't improve, sadly.

There are SO. MANY. characters from Andor that I'd love to have figures of.
 
I think they got real gunshy on Andor Season 2 when the Season 1 figures pegwarmed. And maybe understandably so. I want toys from popcorn flicks. Less so from ones that make me want to actively form my own rebellion.
 
Yeah, while I know a lot of us would love the entire cast of Andor (KINO LOY OR I RIOT) I could see it being easier to greenlight adorable kids or a bevy of Jedi with flashy robes and lightsabers.
 
No Kino when he is immediately re-releasable as Cassian (or Melshi, or...) is a real puzzler.

Melshi (last arc or Rogue One)
Mon Mothma Wedding
Mon Mothma Senate Speech / Bratt Bail Deluxe pack with Senate ring

Wow, the details are already fading. I'm sure there were more - but those are the ones I can remember now.
 
Kleya is definitely the character I want most at this point from Andor. We pretty much got everyone else I could really want. But Luthan and Kleya are my favorite characters in Andor. I'd honestly like to have Luthan a couple more times in different attires.
 
Yeah, I could fill two waves with Andor wants but I know why they aren't gonna make them. I feel like Melshi should be an easy one. Hell, make us buy a three pack with him, Coruscant Rescue Andor, and "I love him but this is too many versions" K-2. Kleya I bet wasn't even on their radar until she became the series breakout character in S2. And if this were Marvel, they'd have done one prison suit with three heads for Kino, Cassian, and Melshi already and had us griping about skin tones and heights, and an ISB body with Partagaz and his subordinates and had us griping about how their ranks should be different on all their uniforms. I think at best we can expect a Kleya in a year or two and that's about it.
