I got a notice that MCU flamed on Human Torch is now scheduled to arrive Tuesday, July 1st from Amazon. The only other figure that I ordered from that wave was is Shalla Bal Surfer and she still says July 16th. Gamerverse Kingpin is also supposed to arrive next week per Amazon.

I ordered Invisible Woman, Thing, and Silver Surfer. I got the e-mail that Silver Surfer arrives Tuesday. No update on the others.

I picked up some 2003 Hulk hands. I'm not a roll play toy guy but these look like good things to make and exception for. I've kind of always wanted some, but I want the originals because it seems they've only gotten smaller over the years. I'm going to display them in my classroom this fall. I asked my wife if she'd buy them for me and she said yes without hesitation.

Cool! They are definitely making the hands much smaller these days. I'm sure you'll be happy with the original Hulk hands.

I picked up the original Thing hands years ago. They still work and are not stinky. They make for a really nice display piece.

I just got the more recent ML Tombstone and aside from his weird neck/head situation (I know it's probably to facilitate stuff they're planning down the line), I really dig this guy. I needed a good street level baddy who could fit with Spider-Man, Punisher, Daredevil, and whoever else and always be reasonably threatening and I think this guy looks great. Just a neat little guy. Glad I picked him up.

To be fair, the sausages come in a $350 package. That said, yellow boots aren't a big ask.

I heard Jesse Falcon took the personal blame on that, but I don't know what that means. Did they give her boots early on and he told them it was incorrect?

My theory is that it's a mix of licensing fees and complacency. The Joe team got shit on pretty hard for the early Classified stuff and had to come back swinging - without the brand recognition and automatic retail love something like Marvel is going to get. It really seems like the Joe team is more able and more willing to really show fans they're listening and want to crank out the best product for the dollar. It's almost like they're a team with something to prove every time, every wave.
Whereas the Marvel team seems to approach this with the attitude of 'it's Marvel and you want these characters, so we know you'll buy it even if it's bare bones and not totally accurate.'

And I say that as someone that likes the Marvel team and likes Marvel Legends quite a lot.

Classified gets to benefit from Legends and Black Series being priced where they are. Hasbro could either give Joe fans a more barebones release at a cheaper price or release something at the same price that has a lot more room in the budget for meat-based byproducts.
