2025-2026 Rumor/Leak List - UPDATED List 9-9-25 (after the livestream)

Just copying and pasting responses between both forums at this point...

It will be cool to get the rest of the Astonishing X-Men this year, potentially. I hope that Deadpool wave isn't accurate in replacing Gambit and Elektra with a Deadpool variant and another Wolverine. That would be a shame. Getting an official sleeveless and damaged up Wolverine would be cool, but not at the cost of characters we didn't already get.

There are 2 possible Punisher releases in 2025 which could see the new 2-pack War Journal body classically repainted - I really hope this isn't in another multipack. I'll want a couple.

A Secret Wars Daredevil on the RYV body with some varied reds would tide me over until the inevitable Maximum release. Finally in a single pack! Not sure which Spider-Man I'd like to see - classic red/blue on the body they used for Symbiote would be great... at least it would have been until they released the Maximum Spider-Man. Now all Spideys should just be on that body. It will seem very underwhelming by comparison.

A lot to be excited for in 2025. Just not the prices.
 
The Kitty/Colossus set is a must-buy for me, at any price. The Juggernaut wave Kitty is the worst figure in my collection. She hardly stands and she's way too tall.

When I bought my new display cases, I went on a crazy purchasing spree filling them in. I bought a lot of placeholder figures so the teams would look complete. I spent way too much money, but now I'm glad I did. The tariffs are already impacting my purchases. I would've been in for the new Target Mystique, but not at whatever price she's going to cost.
 
A few things:

-The front page has been edited to include this new list. Going forward I am also going to start indicating where/who the list came from.

-Owl? Oh heck yes! One of the most outstanding missing characters will hopefully be a leak and not a rumor.

-The Deadpool wave is noticeably different from the existing rumor/leak, so which one is accurate? Are either of them real?

-The "unknown" Secret Wars figure should of course be Volcana to complete the original series cast, but knowing Hasbro's track record of stringing us along and rarely completing things, it'll probably be Venom or Doctor Voodoo.



-And of course, outside of (hopefully classic) Falcon, there are still no new classic Avengers or villains. Which just SUCKS.

Leaks are pretty reliable when they're taken from product inventory lists sent to retailers. Rektangular knew various people with access to that data for years that he's apparently lost contact with and not found replacements, and it's pretty clear Dave from EMB also has a contact given how good last year's list was.

Did Dave say if he got this list from the same source his 2025 list came from? I can't listen to these multi-hour live streams; that's way too long. The only time I usually do is if it's an interview with someone from one of the companies like the Legends team or one of the Four Horsemen guys.

I'm assuming Colossus and Kitty would be in their Astonishing looks to get that team nigh complete, with the exception of Beast.

The Secret Wars wave 2 seems almost too good to be true. Assuming Spider-Man would be a classic red/blue, since it's overdue for a single-card release. Hopefully his blue would be lighter like the first retro card Spider-Man figure, which was a great look.

Owl, Hypno-Hustler, and Cardiac also seems too good to be true. I typically only cherry pick Spider-Man waves, and it's been a while since I've bought any Spider-Man wave characters. Three interesting ones in one wave. The last rumors for a Spider-Man wave including Princess Python and Slyde didn't pan out.

Retro Hulk figures will be welcome, as Hulk's corner of the MU has been largely ignored in ML for a while. While a new Abomination would be cool, I hope we get some new-to-ML characters as well. Tons of possibilities.
 
The lack of Jennifer Garner is a HUGE red flag. I hope Hasbro is just putting her and Channing in a two-pack - which itself would be stupid. If we aren't getting all four, I don't really want any. Just realized she didn't get a Funko Pop with the second wave - she's stuck in an exclusive version? UGGGHHHHHH the ONE I wanted MOST.

Sure hope the last Secret Wars figure is Volcana - I've never read Secret Wars but the lack of new characters is getting problematic!

I'd have to throw in Mr Fear and Man Bull. That and of course an update to classic Elektra on the super poseable lady body. Oh and and classic DareDevil with the red of the gloves boots and DD actually visible ...

edit: oh and grey suit short hair Widow without a jacket.

Retro Hulk line makes sense just to maybe spur sales of the Maximum.

These are the only must-haves for me. - Absorbing Man could be nixed if he doesn't have enough absorbing part variations.
 
I’m the opposite: I don’t mind some optional absorbing parts, but I absolutely NEED a standard, human sized, shirtless and wearing striped prison pants and carrying a ball and chain, straight-up Crusher Creel who can hang out with Skeeter.

Astonishing Beast is on the added rumor/leak list from 12-4-24. So, if the rumor/leaks are all true, and Kitty, Hank and Peter are all in their Astonishing looks, the team would be complete!
 
I pretty much want them all except maybe Colossus but still want a new Kitty Pryde. I have my kit bashed Colossus I use in my collection. Absorbing Man would be perfect on the new Luke Cage body. He should've been done as a deluxe where you can swap out arms and some heads. Him being released on the card back is almost a guarantee he will come all powered up and that's it.
