General Marvel Legends

Anyone else thinking of using Vanessa Kirby head on a comic Sue? Its a nice head; but doesn't look a ton like VanKir.

I had mused about what it may look like on the Butterface Sue from the retro wave. I think it would be a massive improvement.
Sue is the most swapped head of all time. I use smokey eye Sharon on my 60's Sue (it was the 60s after all) and the black suit Sue on my "Byrne era" Sue atm.

I think it's a paint issue, because I think the sculpt is there:

If they do a translucent movie Sue as well, I might be on board. I got a cheep blue/black Sue (with a bonus HERBIE) to do a head swap, but I found I couldn't pull the trigger because then her visible head wouldn't match her invisible head.

Which is obviously stupid, because it's an invisible head. Yet here I am.

Translucent Sue figures really do fix everything.

The butter face Sue from the retro wave has a translucent variant. She's fine because you can't really see the face.

The only Toybiz female Marvel Legend I still own is the translucent Sue variant from the FF multipack. I hated the paint job on the face of the regular one, on this figure it's gone!

Clear plastic. It's the answer to everything!

I don't know. It's passable. I'm kind of looking forward to this wave and the movie. It's till #2 behind Superman, but these are going to be two good summer movies to bring me out of my superhero movie hiatus.

I feel like I'm the last one to get him, but Pulse is finally shipping X-Force Archangel. Been looking forward to breaking out all the black and gray figures together and doing a lil display of them. The older X-Force Wolverine has always been one of my low-key favorites, but he didn't make much sense without the full team.

I mostly ask because I don't collect movie figures. Obviously looking forward to the movie and adore Vanessa Kirby. Was campaigning for her for the Sue role since season 1 of The Crown. Really want to see a pic of movie Thing next to comic one. See if he's a base for a later more Silver Age accurate Thing down the line. Just need leg and crotch piece.

Finally! Mine is shipping too, along with Cobra S.N.A.K.E. and Black Series Night Trooper. Made my morning.

Granted, the face print here seems to be the wrong flesh shade, but what this really shows me that the next thing Hasbro needs to do is perfect hair coloring. Could print tech to that?

You mean flat yellow isn't a good realistic hair color?
