McFarlane DC Multiverse

I want that Cyborg Superman so much. Hate buying this line. There's like 500 of them on ebay ffs. I'm really not a McFarlane hater but sometimes it sure feels that way!
 
Not for nothing, but I do like the press pics for the BWL and Merciless 2 pack. Not buying, but that’s a pretty slick looking set.
 
I’d buy the BWL separately, but yeah definitely passing. Merciless is a cool figure but I already have him in blue and, honestly, I couldn’t even tell you where he is right now. I’m gonna unbox all those weird edgelord Bat-people from Metal years from now and be like “wow, I buy some weird damn stuff, man, if it has a Batsymbol on it”.

Yeah, they only got one out of ten POs, and I was chronologically the first.

Seems to often be the case with McF stuff.

I would like to replace the heels for flats because that brings her down to my mind's eye. I like her bigger. But not bigger than Supes.

Even worse is Cowardly Lot or Year One in my Trinity. Neither works for me on either end of scale.
 
My overall favorite female figure in this line is the Drowned. It’s not the character, it’s the sculpt which perfectly captures the vibe.

My second favorite is Power Girl. In spite of the height. She’s fantastic. Maybe it’s the JSA fan in me, but I’ve no problem with her size. Same with Wonder Woman. She’s an Amazon. She’s supposed to be tall.

Drowned is a gorgeous figure. Top five, for sure in my world.

I agree on Peeg. Amanda Conner always made her tall.
 
No one ever made Power Girl six inches taller than Superman. Big Barda, maybe...

Liking the figure for the sculpt and whatnot is totally valid. As a stand-alone piece it is lovely... but to defend the height as good and accurate compared to other DC characters actually is crazy-talk.

I didn’t say it was accurate. I said I personally didn’t have a problem with it. For my purposes she’s fine.
 
Man, I truly don't remember her being this tall.

Was the Infinite Crisis figure also off scale then?

I've actually had Power Girl for a while now, but haven't taken her out of the package because of the height issue. I probably will eventually, but for now I don't know what to do with her. She seems like an 8-inch scale figure in a 7-inch scale line.
