Been having decision paralysis about what setup to use for some action figure pics lately and then looked to my left, saw I'd pulled the Classified 'noks out for a new setup on my desk... looked to my right, saw the xenomorph I haven't taken pics of yet...

Dreadnoks vs. Aliens. Only Rawkus is making it out alive.

Yesterday when I checked it was stuck on "Might ship this thing, might not. Depends on how we feel"

I've really got to start a spreadsheet or something to track my preorders. I can't find where I even preordered Law and Order.

I don't keep a spreadsheet, but I usually order specific lines from specific retailers. Like anything from Hasbro gets POed at Pulse. Anything from Mattel gets POed at BBTS. Exclusives obviously don't have flexibility in where they're ordered. Recently though, I've been shopping around more for better prices, and Amazon charges less for Mattel stuff, but they seem less reliable about fulfilling some of those things. If I want extras, I'll order from Amazon. Classified all gets POed at Pulse. I generally cancel if I find things at retail first, unless I want extras.

When my job duties change in June I will be spending most of my day in front of spreadsheets. I thought I knew Excel pretty well but I have learned so much training for this new position over the past 6 months. I'll probably make a preorder tracker but then again I plan to cut down what I preorder so maybe it isn't needed?!
 
I thought I was good at Excel then worked with a kid 2/3 my age who was doing formulas so long you had to cursor over to the end three times to see all of it. It blew my mind and I realized I'm an excel novice heh. I can track the hell out of my collection though.
 
I'd be completely lost without my preorder spreadsheet. I sort them by presumed shipping dates and have direct links to the order pages so I easily check each order to see if a date has changed and/or for quick cancellations. lol.
