X-Men '97

My guess has always been that the people working at corporate sometimes don't know the difference between the two and erroneously enter the shelf date into the street date field.

Every year for 5+ years there are register-locked figures that make no sense to have street dates, and confusion with shelf date makes as much sense as anything else.
That's a safe bet. It's also sometimes the case they the erroneous street date gets lifted then the fans are sitting there waiting for the date they were told only to find that they were able to sell it days earlier and the thing they want is already gone. But yeah, this issue has reared its ugly head now and again for 5+ years like you say, and I honestly think we just have to suck it up and live with it. Target would have fixed this by now if they wanted to.

June 22 is the date I'm hearing for Rogue, BTW.

You didn't happen to get the DPCI for that, did you?
No, I didn't buy or scan because I have a couple, but I go to Target most Sundays and will get it if I can.

I assumed this had been released and was surprised to find out the preorders hadn't shipped yet. The preorders seemed like they opened a long time ago and a quick Google search says it was back on 9/27. I saw a reddit post mention the listing disappeared from Target.com, this is also the case with Classified Breaker. I often rely on those links to order on the street date after missing the preorder.

I think those are called power panels or power wings. Or at least we called them that back in 2000 when I worked at PetSmart.
I like it. I never know what to call them because I think of an endcap as front facing. The one at Target had a bunch of McFarlane DC facing the main aisle.

TRU and Best Buy called them side panels when blank, side caps when stocked, and sidekickers when highlighting seasonal or features items.

Power panel (like sidekicker) sounds so District Manager that I can hear it. I liked to mess with my TRU DM.

"Are we getting new layouts soon?"
"Planograms, yeah!"
"Just so I have a guideline for the new wall."
"New planograms are coming for the fall."
"Cool, I'll keep an eye out for the instructions."
"It's a planogram."
"The template for the stock?"
"It's a planogram."

The info from the scan looks very bare bones since there's no online listing.

I hope this Nimrod rumour is actually a leak for an upcoming X men 97 Bastion figure! Funkopops are listing him has 'Bastion-Nimrod'

That’s my best guess, makes sense considering he deserves a deluxe release

My feeling too. I hope these figures just drop outta the blue. I am sick of waiting.

I also wonder if this means Onslaught is in season 2?

He was supposed to be but not anymore sadly

97 Wolverine is available for preorder again, release date is the 22nd, this Sunday. Rogue is supposed to be available that day as well but I don't see a page for her.

Well, crap (sorta). I was going to cancel my 2 Wolverine '97 figs from Target and wait for the new 2-pack to get a single release. Forgot and now they're getting ready to ship. I'd only gotten 2 for the free shipping.
