Oh, I've long noticed that neurodivergent folks tend to be attracted to tactile hobbies that include "world building" and what-not. There's also a big crossover with fantasy, science fiction, superheroes, etc. for many such folks. Being extreme ADHD and having dyscalculia myself, I've always been attracted to these types of things, and I've observed that a large swath of my fellow "geeks" are either on the spectrum, have ADHD, or are neurodivergent in other ways. The fact that this forum, most especially, is so welcoming and understanding is a big part of the appeal for me, and I suspect for many others as well.

Ah man, I guess I gotta be more selective on pre-orders. Im guilty of cancelling too, probably more along the lines of 15% of my orders when hobby funds were low and such. I've only ever cancelled one item in my POL and that was because it was an accidental duplicate. I've never got my pee pee slapped, and I really dont want that lol
 
You're not living until your pee pee gets slapped around a bit.
