LPZZ Toys (UPF)

I dig all of those. In regards to Absolute Batman, I feel like the axe blade should've been bigger? They should give him 2 different ones - one perfectly sized for his chest and one bigger.

Oh thank god. When I woke up this morning, all I saw was the Absolute, Arkham, and movie stuff. They all look great, but they aren't for me. I've been waiting to pre-order Hush Bats for like a year.

I'll gladly double-dip on blue and black Hush Batman figures.

The DC universe. Filled with characters of every description and flavour, going back multiple decades, encompassing numerous types of stories...

..here's a million fucking Batmans and Batman associated characters, plus a Superman (from a Batman story).

Yawn. Mattel's line excites me more than these yo-yos, at least that has more damn variety to it already.

Figures look good but not for me. I was woken up to the news and was still half-groggy until I saw the word "Azrael." But "Arkham" deflates any and all excitement. Oh well, an actual JPV will come soon enough.

I can count on two hands the number of DC characters I'd be willing to spend $115 on, but even I'd like more variety. Despite liking LPZZ's product more, I'm going to wind up with more InArt pre-orders out of sheer diversity.

Very curious how the Hush Bats will be priced. Originally they said the Hush figures would be more affordable than their other offerings, but with that accessory count I'm somewhat doubtful

Considering the multiple capes, batcomputer and whatnot, I'm guessing they'll release him in standard and a mogę deluxe version.

It was a mistake to come back into this thread and see all the newly unveiled stuff. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on anything, but that resolve weakens with every new one I see. That Arkham Azrael may finally get me to bite; I don't know what it is, but I just love his design in that. Battinson looks really good too. Lord help me if/when they get around to Scarecrow.

Few more bits of gossip:

* Very unlikely to be any reissues, and if a series/sub-line doesn’t perform, they’ll ditch it. Not a Medicom style situation where they’ll put out multiple figures for that one guy who really liked Aquaman 2.

* No Harleys because she’s been over-saturated (and Batman hasn’t???)

* No 2025 or 1978 Supermans because the Chinese market DGAF about either of them.

* Due to licensing approval and being a new, small firm, don’t expect more than 5 or 6 releases per year in the immediate future.

Phew, Bruce's hairline is looking a little thin.

C'mon now. While the MAFEX and DC Icons figures are good, I'm itching for an upgrade.

I, for one, am glad they'll spend half of them on Dark Nights: Metal.

Probably a mix of Jim Lee, and comics selections in many non-American countries being fairly limited. Usually only the really big and frequently reprinted trade paperbacks get translations, or anything current. When put side by side with something like Long Halloween or Dark Knight Returns, it's just the no brainer pick. It's got all the characters you could possibly want from both the Batfam and the Rogues Gallery, with designs that basically just are the status quo, and an art style that's comically easy to translate into plastic form.
