I saw these for the first time in person today. My Target had Superman, Metamorpho, Hawkgirl, Mr. T, and Engineer(?) singles for $10. Then they had the 4 pack with Superman, Metamorpho, Mr. T, and Lex for $40.

Now of course these are as basic as it gets. And yet........I found myself looking hard at these. Cons: no accessories, Supes' cape looked cheep, minimal articulation. Pros: Fortress robot BAF, likenesses on point (for the price), the 4 pack has Krypto and the green baby, prices for the singles and the 4 pack completely reasonable.

I might be to the point where I'm so tired of prices on the "adult collectibles" going up, up, and away.with nothing to show for it. Noting added to justify it (in some cases things are taken away) and we're into the $30 - $40 range on a lot of this stuff now. Certainly for Todd's version of the movie figures (Ultraman, no accessories except for some tiny hands, $40 after tax. What?). What if I just want to pay bare minimum and get "good enough" representation on my toy shelf and just call it good? I can tell you Spin Master's David Corenswet face is better than any of Mattel's five attempts at Henry Cavil. I might go back for some of these. But do I want the robot BAF or the Luthor and Krypto?

These do look fun. I still haven't seen any in person. But from what I've seen online both the 4" and the 6" offerings from Spin Masters look fun. Even though I'm an adult collector, and buy adult collector items, I also still enjoy buying these kid lines sometimes. It reminds me of stuff that was out when I was a kid. Sometimes I enjoy getting things that are just simple, fun kid's toys.

So, I totally get you looking at these and appreciating them and their price point. I saw Spin Masters How To Train Your Dragon stuff the other day and thought it looked fun too.

I may pick some of this Superman stuff up. It's too bad this movie will be covered by Spin Masters, and then all other toylines for this DC Cinematic Universe will probably be made by Mattel. And who knows what scale those will be.

I picked up the entire Spin Master Robot BAF wave + Hammer + The Fortress of Solidtude (with the Yeti & Krypto) on a whim. They're just OK, even mostly for just $10 each. I'd have a hard time recommending anyone else bother picking them up even at that price point. I still do wish Spin Master had made more 6" figures over time instead of waiting until right before they lost the license, though.

I just about bought the Super Powers Fortress of Solitude as well, but talked myself out of that one, at least for now.

I found some Superman merch today at Wal-Mart. I saw the 12" figures and I saw the little mini 2.5/3" figures. There was a 6 Pack of the mini figures for $12 and then there was the mini figures Fortress of Solitude playset that came with 3 figures, Krypto, and a big creature/beast for $29.99.

The little minis looked fun. I didn't buy any though. And they didn't have any 6" figures out yet. I don't know why I thought there were also 3.75" Figures from Spin Masters for this Superman movie. I think I thought the 4 Pack at Target was 3.75", but it's 6".

But it's really just the12", 6", and then the 2.5/3" minis, right?

My Wal-Mart finally put out the Superman 6" figures by Spin Masters. First off, $7.99 for these figures is pretty good. They look nice, and have a decent amount of articulation.

That being said, whoever orders these at my local Wal-Mart must be on PCP. Because they didn't even get or put out any Guy Gardners, Engineers, or Mr. Terrifics. But they put out 2 Metamorpho, 2 Hawkgirl, and like 35 Superman's. There is a pile of Superman figures like 3 or 4 pegs deep.

Mother of ass! Even at $8 a piece I feel like they may have trouble moving all of these.

I saw the same at one Walmart, and then found other characters (but still a lot of Supermans) at another Walmart. It makes sense to heavy pack Superman, but this is a bit extreme.

FYI, all but Engineer are available from Walmart online, if you want to go that route. Engineer was up before, as I ordered one the other day.

All are at one link: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Superman-6in-Basic-Figs/14883673445

Thanks for posting the link. I bought a couple of these, but I've got to ask: are these REALLY six inch scale? They seem smaller than Star Wars Black Series, which is smaller than Marvel Legends.

That's how it was at my local Macy's when I looked the other day- maybe like 5 or 6 Green Lanterns and Mr. Terrifics, and what had to have been at least 100 Supermans. Of course it makes sense- I mean, he's the title character, but I do feel for anyone trying to complete the line, especially since McFarlane doesn't seem to be doing GL or any of the women (go figure), so this is their only option for some of the characters. I feel like we see this almost any time a big blockbuster has its toy release- there's always that 1 character, usually the main one, that goes beyond peg-warming into peg-rotting.

I have seen these figures at my local Target stores, but they have only had Superman, Engineer & Mr. Terrific. I went to Walmart & they have Superman, Guy Gardner, Mr. Terrific & a single Engineer figure. I have not seen Hawkgirl or Metamorpho yet. They are $9.99 at Target & $7.94 at Walmart. I decided to get them at Walmart. I want to get the multi pack with Luthor at Target but I'm not sure I want doubles.

Are there three others with different designs?
All the same robot designs, nothing unique about them.

I took this shot this morning at work, trying to line up the 2 figures as best as possible in package.

Definitely THINNER than even a SWB figure.

The Superman is about 5.8 inches tall. David Corenswet is 6' 4", which would mean the figure should be 6.4 inches tall. So no, these aren't quite 1:12 scale.

Lol. There are sightings of these figures in my area Walmarts on clearance to $3 and change. I mean, it was inevitable, but they didn't even give it a chance!
