YES! I love those. My wife and I got to go to an event where he was promoting the second one which was really great. but yes, I still love watching those. His whole thing about Prince is still a favorite. But his stage stuff is why I never missed a panel with him at Comic Con, even if he was simply moderating.

Yes! Me too! And it's dumb how often I use it and proceed to explain the scene to whoever I'm saying it to. I also love when Dante tells Randall to get rid of those burritos before they stink up the place and he says, "I hope no one ever says that about your parents." Just a lot of dumb and fun dialogue throughout that show.
 
Nice. yeah, that's all he needs to do! Just tell stories. Evening With, Smodcast, whatever it is. He's a fantastic story teller, even more so just vocally than with a camera.
 
I was never a Clerks guy, but I LOVE Dogma. Great film. I'm an 'on the outskirts' kind of fan of Kevin Smith. I think he's cool. I think he does good work. But I don't have particularly strong opinions about him beyond 'he seems like a good guy and he seems genuine and passionate about what he's into.' I dig that. Beyond that, I don't really give him a lot of thought.

Wouldn't mind watching Dogma again, though. It's definitely been a good... 8-10 years.
 
Holy shit!!!!! Moranis?!? That is a huge surprise.

As much as I really enjoy Young Frankenstein and Spaceballs, and mildly enjoy some of his others, my favorite Mel Brooks movie isn't even a Mel Brooks movie, My Favorite Year.
 
Heh, to be fair, my favorite film Brooks was ever involved in is definitely the Brooksfilms-produced The Fly.
 
Keke Palmer is also apparently in the cast, and while plot details aren't known, individuals close to the project describe the script as “A Non-Prequel Non-Reboot Sequel Part Two but with Reboot Elements Franchise Expansion Film.”
