McFarlane DC Multiverse

Yeah, the more I see the more I am convinced....they're going to repaint their existing bucks crank out as much as humanly possible for the remainder of the year.

Collector's Club Harley arrived at my door today and while I have not taken her out, she looks pretty impressive in the box. I got the level 2 which I THINK is about the same price as a "Collector's Edition" figure only this one actually feels like she might be worth the $35. Compare this $35 release to the $35 release of a 100% reuse Poison Ivy with a couple of little vines tossed in. It's always fun to see a live live up to its full potential. I hope I don't have to take back those words after I open her.

So was mine,TO THE APARTMENT I MOVED OUT OF IN APRIL.

WHAT was the point of following their instructions to update my shipping address if they WEREN'T going to use it? I texted my former landlord and asked them to check for it, and told them I'd swing by after work to grab it.

Hope you're able to get it without a problem! That happened to me a couple years after I moved- apparently my UPS account was still auto-sending things to an Access Point way over by where I used to live, even though I'd had things delivered to my new place for years (and there were a ton of Access Points closer to my new place). Wasn't even every order, just some of them, for whatever reason, which is why it took me so long to figure out what the issue was. Had to end up calling UPS and talking to someone to get them to change it. This sounds more like a McFarlane issue, obviously, but still- that's why I never rest easy on anything I have shipped until it's in my hands.

I did hear about another Kid Flash. I didn’t hear it would be a FA though.

It appears as though Todd is rereleasing some harder to get figures like Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and Kid Flash that was a part of the online only McFarlane store exclusive Monitor wave. With some small changes.
 
Ok, so classic colours WW, human skin Ivy and Modern JSA Kendra are the regulars-- which are basically the three I want the most. That's what DJC has up right now. But I think I'm waiting to see if EB Games get them.
 
Cracked open my Harley and Joker, and while I haven't gotten that in-depth with them yet, they're mostly nice. Not sure I'm in love with the super chunky fishnets and how they kinda just stop right before they get to the pants. That looks odd. The pigtails feel a little flimsy, so swapping the portraits feels a little harrowing, but for the most part, she's nice. Like yojoebro said- it feels like it justifies the price point. Hard to explain, but the articulation feels a little more...smooth in places? Especially on the arms/upper legs; like, they're the same kind of joints as the rest of the line, it seems, but they don't feel as... ratchet-y? If that makes sense? Maybe it's just in my head.

One thing I did notice- wasn't Joker supposed to come with cards? He was shown with them in the mock-up for both tiers, but mine didn't have any. Checked everywhere in and around the box. Haven't looked at anyone else's review to see if theirs had one, so I don't know. Not the biggest deal if they skipped it, but a bit of a bummer- he doesn't really come with anything as is.
