ML Secret Wars

A true gift to the community, we are blessed to have so many. Also, guys who sit superimposed in front of an action figure photo floating above their head pointing up at it the who time. How and why did this become a thing? Is it... did TikTok do this?

What the fuck is this content and why does Instagram try and push it constantly?
UGH. I clicked on one of these things the other day and it made me feel like less of a person after watching. So much so that I had to click on the three dots in the corner to find the "don't show me this again" option.

He was dogpiling on a particular thing in pop culture that is currently a trendy thing to dogpile on and I don't want to give him any more recognition than that. I think it particularly ruffles my feathers because I can't write it off saying, "Pffft....stupid 20 year old kid, doesn't know anything". Nope, this is a middle aged male....this is my demographic. In it for the clicks. Ugh.

Oh yeah - this one particular dude whose video I posted, his rants kept popping up on Facebook of all places. I've tried to block them so many times using the "I don't like this" option. Just keeps coming up. Absolutely mind numbing hot takes that I figured had to be written by a 14 year old with extremely severe autism. Nope - adult man probably in his late 40s, tank top and stupid bandanna. Just out there using terms like "mog", and "clears" and "glaze"... it's... fuck is it not great.

Too late!

Here let me totally glaze on Toybiz Marvel Legends. For me, they totally clear Hasbro Marvel Legends. When I pose up my Face-Off Daredevil, you'll never notice his ugly ball joined hips, and he's going to totally mog the Secret Wars Daredevil!!!!!!!

Show that to your kid and ask if I did it right.

I even used multiple exclamation points.

Is there an English to 21st century dictionary?

If not, there needs to be.

Or maybe someone could invent a universal translator like they use in Star Trek.

There is. Google.
As a man with a 16-year-old daughter.... none of this shit is that big of a deal. Vernacular changes. Slang changes. The older gen -always- loses touch with whatever the current gen are saying. It's literally the most tired joke in the movies, right? Haha, old guy doesn't understand what 'radical' means. Or whatever.
IF you want to be plugged in to what current slang is, it's pretty easy in the year of our dear and fluffy lord 2026 to just Google it. I've... low-key.. (see what I did there?) done that after talking to my daughter. But also, you can probably infer most of it through context. And the stuff you can't, you probably don't care about anyway. Missing a few slang terms will probably never make your life appreciably worse. So I definitely recommend the 'going back to bed' option. You will probably be happier.

I am so wildly torn on whether or not I want you to explain why you assumed they were autistic. I imagine it's probably not a great idea for you to explain, though.
