For real. I do a bunch of packaging design and I guarantee that packshot went past about 5 sets of eyes before being released. You can check and check again and there’ll still be some dumb shit you never saw. The text being at 90 degrees doesn’t help.

I suspect it’s just a mock-up for now, as the leadtime will be way less than for the figures. But if that does hit the street, some poor graphic design intern will be living their own private hell for the next year or so…

There's a running joke in publishing that if you find a typo in a book that's not a mistake, it's a SURVIVOR, because it somehow evaded so many eyes to get there. That being said, a typo in a book is not a typo on the cover which is SUPER embarrassing.

I have Resident Evil Revelaiton and a Green Lantern Compendiun.

Just today my JoyToy Bebop and Rocksteady arrived... Beebop on the box.

I love it. For my own editing, it's because I just autofill the word by looking at the first and last letter due to decades of speed reading. I try and keep a standard when I do my own writing in any capacity, but I also just don't care anymore when I see people messed stuff up, as long as I understood it.
