G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

I like to think I have a fairly deep knowledge of 80s GI Joe comics and cartoon.

Where is that Deep Six zombie head from?????? I don't recall.......

it's not based on anything in G.I. Joe. It's just a 'for fun' thing.
Which makes it better. This line stays on my radar because they aren't just playing the hits. I like that they said they specifically didn't have Joe branding on the front of the figure so he could be used as a deep sea diver dude for any line.

Why the hell am I vaguely tempted by Action Man? I can't even tell you.

Updated the first post!

With regard to Danger Girl, I have the figures, the Abby Chase statue (the original one not the new Sideshow one with Ozempic face), the tpb's, the colletor's edition hardback, various single issues signed by J. Scott and the SDCC poster he just happened to be selling one of the years I went. Supposedly he was going to do a run on Spiderman, which I'm sure would have been remembered well, but after a few years when I'd see him it sounded more and more distant until it was basically only doing covers, which is what we got.

His site has a few DG prints that get fairly cheap around the holidays if you wanted more of those. Most of the DG hype has dissipated so they tend to be the cheaper ones on the site.

Ah. I was referring to the “action figures”, which were well sculpted but very poorly articulated.

Couple more thoughts.

Anyone else think Dan Larsen seemed uncomfortable during the stream and B-Mac did well as the lead? Dan just didn't seem sure of himself and what to do. His hands clasped in front of him on the table was a dead giveaway. B-Mac seemed a little trepidatious at the beginning, but seemed to find his groove quickly. I guess with Lenny and Tony taking the lead for so long it was easier for him to just kind of be in the background. Either way a respectable start. I do miss the behind the scenes info that Lenny and Tony were able to give us on each figure but that is to be expected when B-Mac isn't necessarily privy to the processes behind offering.

Apparently Lenny chimed in on Instagram that the Vamp MK2 launcher is actually smaller than the Snow CAT launcher. So similar design but different molds.

I love how NF Scarlett turned out, especially the masked head.

I got the distinct impression, based on him not even quite seeming to follow B-Mac's prompts, that Dan wasn't really told what he was supposed to be doing or saying, or how much he was actually allowed to say. He seemed to kind of hedge around 'can I say this... can I say that..' and mostly let B-Mac handle it. Maybe out of fear of overstepping. Which is totally understandable.
