Jada Street Fighter

T. Hawk is up on BBTS. I know these haven't been hard to find but it's nice to just set it and forget it with a preorder with them.
 
Is Zangief really the last guy they’re trying to make?

I don't know if I was over aggressive moving his torso around or the heat loosened up the glue, but the seam has separated on the left side under the armpit area. I think it's due to the hard, stiff plastic of upper torso not being able to flex over the thicker portions of his body.

It pulls apart when twisting past a certain point.

I had something similar with my Chun Li at the hip (mine was never glued on one side). I emailed Jada and they sent a replacement out

I only really know SFII, so yeah. Zangief is my number one want since wave one.
 
I had my BBTS pile of loot shipped a couple of weeks ago: Black Canary, Vigilante, Black Widow/Quicksilver, Balrog, and E. Honda. The DC and Marvel figures were quickly relegated to their respective storage bins. I still haven’t put the Jada figures down. They’re just so…refreshing…for lack of a better word.

Man, I feel for Jada. Those Alpha figures are going to be a tough sell unless they are able to beat Storm Arena to the market on many of the remaining characters. One thing Jada does have going for them is that they’ve shown that they will commit to completing a roster, something that Storm doesn’t have the best reputation for doing.

It sounds like these might be it for Jada's Alpha offerings. They must have been too far along to outright cancel, though if they sell really well I would assume they'd reconsider.

I recall Juhn said they'd do this then pivot. I cannot cite it. But it had to have been on ToyMigos as he's the only one they ever talk with, con or episode, I cannot say.

Did we know about the two pack and glowing Blanka? I'm hoping that's SDCC, so I can file it under SDCC Exclusives I Don't Care About.

Anyway, they all went through. Rush completes my MM journey unless we get Roll.

I think the pivot is smart, but the shot they have is it may be easier to find for some people, and Storm is still an inside baseball brand in the hobby, and has a stigma with pricing and rubber bodies (oh nooo) among others.

It's surprising the amount of Marketplace people I meet who are marveling at what I've got to sell, ask how, and when I give them even local retailers or BBTS they're like "Whoa, too deep for me." Not on shelves or Amazon, non starter.

I'm buying both because I lined up way too many quarters.
