Ghostbusters General Thread

I honestly wish Neca or SH Figuarts did movie figures. No one's really given us highly detailed, well articulated, accurate GBs with good likenesses in 1/12. I personally think the hasbro busters are the most decently accurate for the price, but still, the soft sculpts and non-accurate proton packs don't do it for me.

Neca or SHF could do the movie busters justice like no one has before.
 
Figure is cool, but it was news to me Brett Parson (one of my idols) did the packaging art. He does the recent Tank Girl, for the broadest touchstone I have at the moment.

Don't like the DST?
 
The likenesses feel pretty outdated for me these days on the DST Ghostbusters now that I'm used to seeing digital face printing. Also the rounded bottoms of the feet make them a real pain in the ass the keep standing, even with the stands I'm using and the neutrino wands don't rise to the occasion and can't hold the proton stream up well. Just all around not great figures to me anymore.
 
Disappointing they still aren’t releasing ghosts. It’s kind of ridiculous the actual ghosts were only available with the haslab.

Yeah, I had no interest in Ecto-1 put would have picked up the ghosts for sure.

Speaking of Haslabs, that new proton pack would make the first Haslab item released again in a new color/version. Hisstank seems like one they could do in different colors too so that certainly opens the door for that possibility now.
 
Ha! Even if I want to buy it (honestly I am tempted) I can’t since Pulse won’t let any of my orders go through for the past 2-3 weeks. After a week they finally responded to me telling me to just use Pay Pal. I refuse to use Pay Pal for a preorder.

I am about to ask for a refund for my premium membership. I don’t understand how it worked fine for years and now it doesn’t for me at least. Sorry, end rant.

That happened to me a few months back when they put up the new Daredevil. After a few emails back and forth insisting the issue was on their end, they fixed it and it’s been fine since. Still not sure what that issue was exactly but it’s definitely them, not you.

I am not sure but I think this is a completely new mold separate from the Haslab. Sort of the same kind of offering difference as the Sentinel and the X-Men 97 Sentinel.

Obviously there are differences since the Haslab proton pack and this new one have near identical designs simply because they were designed that way originally. I'll have to check though because I only just got back home a little while ago and haven't had a chance to check out the news.

I hope they actually release more the Kenner throw-back figures. A lot of the ghosts and monsters from that line were really fun.

Also, would love to see Hasbro do a release of the Real Ghostbusters Firehouse.

Never got one as a kid.
