No.
But variant hunters make it harder to buy anything because they need two or three of everything. Those guys suck and actively make collecting less fun.
 
There’s also a Skeletor with short Havoc Staff and long tray, and a long Havoc Staff and long tray. And don’t forget Party Skeletor with no painted skivvies.

I do like the look of the toothy Skeletor, but I like the wash on the original. I know that, at least in the clips I've seen, he looks a little cleaner, but something about the darker tone looks cooler to me. What does the short staff look like versus the long one? Haven't seen that change yet.

Interesting run of variants here. Normally when there's a running change on a figure like this, it's because the concept art changed and it's almost a completely new figure. It's not usually the same figure but with a slightly better likeness, or one with more teeth. But I applaud Mattel for wanting to be as screen-accurate as possible!

Are you guys finding Skeletor at brick and mortar, or are these from online orders? I haven't see him anywhere yet!

The Skeletor I found today was at Walmart. There were a couple at Target this morning too (missing molars variant).
 
I usually have 75% of my vintage MOTU stuff boxed up, displaying Castle Grayskull, He-Man, Skeletor, and a couple of other choice characters. But movie hype made me want to take them all out and let the breathe. This is my entire MOTU collection (with special guest stars) set to the theme of the new movie. I don't usually (ever) take videos and set them to music, I just taught myself how to do this last night. Hooray, summer break!

For real, though.

At this point, I feel like the biggest pieces missing from the Origins collection are Two Bad, NA He-Man, and NA Skeletor. Pretty much everything else is a 'would be nice, but my collection is fine without it.' But those three feel like legitimate holes in the collection.
