Marvel Cinematic Universe Figure Discussion

I try to mess around with the figure as much as I can or as much as it interests me before putting it into the display. I foolishly rearranged the display that NWH Lizard would be going into recently, so that I could get Otto and Electro and Osborn further back into the display so they weren't covering everyone up. Should have waited til I had Lizard, because now I gotta move all the other NWH figures, the Hawkeye series figures, Multiverse of Madness figures, out, to get Lizard in.

When you all get figures that complete shelves, do you mess with them for awhile and then complete the shelf, or do you just complete the shelf and exhale?
I usually let myself mess around with the figure for a day or so while I decide where I want it to go on the shelf. Unless it's one I'm really anticipating and have already carved out room for it. Luckily my display is easy enough to navigate, so I can always take a figure off to appreciate, re-pose, etc., which I've been doing often here lately. As silly and obvious as it sounds, you really don't appreciate the full figure if it's covered up by a bunch of others, so I've had a lot of newfound appreciation here lately.

I have no permanent displays that include Legends for the most part because every time I try to create one my kids see it and immediately start asking for figures out the display. So I rarely think about this question because my displays rotate constantly.

The only semi-permanent display I have is a Marvel display that includes the best version of every Marvel A and B list comic character, and most of that display is Mafex. Very few Legends figures are the best available for a given comic character, but some certainly are like Hulk, Black Panther, or Doctor Strange mostly because Medicom, Bandai, and the other high-end 1:12 scale companies haven't even done those comic characters yet.

That was meant more like "wow look at you" in a slightly envious way but damn. I get that though, I have my spreadsheet organized by dates for a reason!

In the app, it says July 22 but email says next Tuesday. I don’t want it to be next Tuesday. I don’t like when I’m charged for stuff super early.

Mine had the same weird mix-up- top of the email says next Tuesday, but the date at the bottom of the email and in the app says July. I've noticed that a few times over the years- the top of the email will still say the previous expected date, but everything else will reflect the new one. Had that happen today with my Black Series SM-33 as well- top of the email says next week, but body and app says next month.

Much as I'd love to have any of the figures next week, I wouldn't wanna then wait a whole extra month for the rest of them, so I'm cool waiting.

On one hand, yay. On the other hand for wallet reasons, I can wait a few weeks lol

Gamestop and Best Buy both list the release date for the FF wave as July 1.
For some reason, I keep forgetting to cancel my Walmart order that went up before the other sites, and their date hasn't moved either- still lists July 1st, with delivery on the 4th (obviously wouldn't happen because of the holiday, but having the F4 on July 4th would be a fun coincidence). I'm not necessarily expecting them to hit anywhere on the 1st, but I also wouldn't be mad if they did.

Got my S3 Parker. Love it, though, I don't really have a use for the 2nd head or the symbiote. All I really need now is "Pizza Time" Pete and I'll be good for S3.
