G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #266 - The Doctor (Rise of Cobra)

Yeah the color combo on those is just not a good choice. Just brown and lime green can probably work, so can blue and lime, brown and blue; but all three together looks like what somebody's grandma in 1978 thought was a new hip color statement for kitchen appliances.

Hey! How dare you?! Granny Hama is a fucking saint!

y'know, it occurs to me that I love the Marauders color scheme but I'm also in this weird nostalgic phase of really liking trashy old 70s color palettes and maybe the two are actually related.

I'm wondering if the lack of a second use of Mutt & Junkyard, along with Croc Master is because they didn't exactly move mountains at retail. Both sat for some time and Croc Master especially hit deep clearance. Then on top of that Sarge's Marauders (fine Mad Marauders) haven't exactly sold well. All of them have sat, including Spirit/Low-Light. Sarge himself and Barbeque both got clearanced out and Spirit/Low-Light are still available for cheap on Pulse. So why go back to that well another time only for Mutt & Junkyard to sit and get clearanced?

Either way I would be down for them in Classified.

Speaking of easy sublines to complete, I swear if they hadn't made Night Force a Walmart exclusive we'd have gotten closer to a larger roster than we did. I also think the Target shenanigans with Tiger Force didn't help that subline either (and we've got / are about to get more Tiger Force members in their normal outfits that would be easy repaints but I suspect they're hesitant to make more.)

The Marauders are also one of the rare repaint sets that was barely added to later on. Tiger Force and Night Force both got more members later on (like Jinx, Big Brawler, Dial Tone, Stalker, and Roadblock in Tiger Force, then Beach Head, Flint, Short-Fuze, Freestyle, and, again, Roadblock in Night Force). When they revisited Marauders in 2011, it was entirely characters from the 1989 wave, along with the Renegade trio, AND a Marauder version of Falcon, but he seems to be the only addition since 1989.

Marauders color scheme is the least offensive. I can’t stand Tiger Force or Python Patrol, especially Python Patrol.

The Tiger Force Snake Eyes who ended up being made in the 5POA Super7 figures cracks me up and hope they make him. It's like Snake Eyes in a Tony the Tiger onesie.
