1/12 Diorama/Terrain/Props/Vehicles

I picked up the Ramen Toys "A-Team" van from them directly, and the standard econoline black van from BBTS.

Slick. I take it you like it? I've got the black/chrome version of the Racer on order but I think it'll be weeks or more before I see it. I keep getting tempted to go for the armored van but I can't justify the space I'd need right now.

I love them. I had preordered the plain black van at BBTS after Ramen had closed their preorders when they first went up, because I wanted a van that could double for the Punisher, among other things.

Ha. What a trip. As someone who just finished Neon Genesis Evangelion and The End of Evangelion for the first time, it's tempting.

Any recommendations for a backdrop of jungle/forest that is similar to Extreme Sets? I have a few of their sets and despite the whole cardboard thing they still hold up, but their exterior options are lacking. (I have a city/alley, a sci-fi base/lab, a sort of outer rim style sci-fi exterior urban one, and an interior castle/dungeon). Trying to do some shots with NECA Predator figs and we don't have enough house plants in the house because the cats eat them. :)

This is an 18x20in print on poster board I had printed at Walmart for extra rooftop shots. I created the image, but having worked in the Walmart photo lab, if you find some large enough jungle images you like (12000 x 10800 pixels for this to print properly), you should have no problem getting it printed there (I printed plenty of straight up saved images of various trademarked images).

Small arcade/game room dio in progress.

These are all 3D printed items from Etsy sellers.
I have a bunch of the Bandai produced arcade cabinets, as well as the Man of Action cabinets, and 2 Fortnite cabinets, so I can swap them out to change up the layout.

The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are the Dioramansion display bases. They have a LOT of background options including outdoors: https://www.hlj.com/search/?SeriesID2=Dioramansion&Page=1

Not sure how well they'd work and they are imports, but it's something to check out.

Very nice. Granted I'm biased because I did the skin for the Cats With Knives version, but you should really check out the arcade cabinets by Super ActionStuff. He's also got a vending machine coming out soon that would fit well in that dio. Both come with a boat load of 1/12 accessories. Of course there's also the Fortnite ones but those I feel don't look quite as good unless you get a reskin pack from some of the folks online who make them.

Here's the Super Action Stuff arcade cabinet I did the art for: https://superactionstuff.com/products/copy-of-game-on-arcade-w-led-light-cats-with-knives-2

Here's a specific Jungle Dioramansion one I found. Seems pretty Predator-ish: https://www.hlj.com/dioramansion-200-jungle-pel89047

So, something I'm going to try soon is using my ultrawide monitor as a digital backdrop. I recently bought a city-building game called Dystopika that lets you make cyberpunk city-scapes, and I have a feeling with the right setup and forced perspective it'll rock as a backdrop for scifi stuff. Here's a taste of what that can do:

I actually have a couple of this style of game, including one called Townscaper and another called Tiny Glade, and I think both could be used for digital pho backdrops for different things.

I've seen good use of monitors as backdrops. I don't really have a good sized monitor, but I suppose I could run the images through my TV...

I've thought of using my TV too, but my new(ish) monitor is pretty dope, so might as well get some use out of it, right?
