Figura Obscura

Yeah, now that the line is a hit, quarterly figures would be nice. Spring and Summer could be less tied to seasons/holidays. If anything, the Spring release’s theme is ‘international’ with Monkey King and the Egyptian gods. A Yeti could certainly fit in that unofficial theme although would make a good winter figure following A Christmas Carol.

With the Horsemen being insistent on not extending the dragon campaign because it could back up their plans for the year, I wonder if the Spring release could be hitting soon. Maybe beginning of May?

Isn't The Graveyard it's own seperate thing technically?
I think it is but they included a pamphlet with that release cross selling all of their lines and giving little descriptions of each. The cryptozoology was mentioned under Figura Obscura.

That same pamphlet said to expect to return to the graveyard this October. I’m hoping for zombies next, especially after the ashen zombie was offered with the dragon campaign. I do hope they drop the black and white coloring though. It worked OK for the skeletons as a call back to the Disney short but I wouldn’t want that every time.

For Christmas, I'd definitely take an elf two pack to go with Santa, maybe with a reindeer or snowman but TBH the Fresh Monkey ones will probably do the trick. A Jack Frost snow villain character, yes to Nutcracker characters like the Mouse King/Soldiers/Nutcracker himself. A (bad ass) angel.

A leprechaun, which could become a halfling in Legions.

Yes to all mythological characters. Would particularly love a Lugh and Brighid, but that's likely far fetched. Horus, Thoth, Set, if they keep going with Egyptian.

If Fairy Tales are on the table, whoa boy... give me a Rumpelstiltskin and the spinning wheel, Red Riding Hood with a terrifying wolf, there's just too many under this umbrella to name.

I really want a Robin Hood & Little John. I want more unarmored legions characters in general to build out bards/rangers/rogues/etc.

With The Odyssey coming to screen with Christopher Nolan, well, that story has several toyetic characters.

I'd buy a black and white zombie set for Night if the Living Dead.

I would do things, unspeakable things, to have a good set of Night of the Living dead figures. All 7 of the characters plus zombies. Not stopping there, give me the 4 from Dawn of the Dead and some of those zombies too. Even the bikers. Same for Day of the Dead. I'd do a whole Romero bookcase full.

Maybe even sooner than that. When did last

THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS.
I watch the original Dawn of the Dead every year on New Years Day. George Romero’s work absolutely shaped my late-teens/early-20s. I’d go gaga for so many characters from the original 3 films! Imagine a pull-apart Rhoades with a “CHOKE ON ‘EM!!!!” sound chip! Ahhh, stop me before I go completely off.

So yes, gimme a zombie set.

I wouldn't even stop there. I'd venture heavily into Return of the Living Dead too. I'd want those almost as much as figures from the Romero films. The 1990 Savini remake too. We can dream I guess. If I knew how to sculpt a good likeness I would be all over customizing some of these.

SEND.
MORE.
PARAMEDICSSSSSSS

Yes please to RotLD and Savini remake! Hell, while we’re at, get me Mindy Clarke all pierced up from RotLD 3.

Here we go!

What’s the clue? Fiery mandala.. is it Aztec or Hindu? Obstacles? I’ll admit I’m poorly versed in mythology and deities…
