You'll love this He-Man, I think. Until we get this body with a fully classic style of the character, this is almost certainly the best He-Man figure ever made. Which, to be honest, is not the highest of bars.

And yeah, the FOMO is real. Especially with this property, because you're fighting against other collectors that basically don't even care if the movie is good and will buy every version of these guys. Look at all the people showing off their '87 movie figure collections that will do nothing but bag on how much that movie 'sucks.'

Meh. I think that I'm going to skip these movie figures unless I find them discounted down the line. I'm just not a movie figure guy. I have both Chronicles King Grayskull and Scareglow in hand and look forward to more Chronicles figures but have no real desire for these movie figures. I'm going to pass, at least at full price.
 
EB had He-Man, Man At Arms, Triclops and Battle Cat, so you know I had to put that Onyx discount to work.

While I've cherry picked the various revivals over the years, I've never had Battle Cat return to my fold since the 80s.

Clearly, this will fix me.
 
I have pretended I love the Masterverse Battle Cat for the past few years because he is, objectively, the best Battle Cat I've ever owned, but he does have that slight Masterverse clunkiness thing going on. I have a strong feeling Chronicles Battle Cat will, in fact, fix me.

Also hang the fuck on - just looking at the promo pics on BBTS for Skeletor, is that a WIRED cape or are they just doing photo manipulation?
 
I grabbed all from BBTS. They were the first to send out a notification so I gave them the money. I shipped the POL already so as fast as BBTS has been shipping lately I expect a shipping notice NLT Wednesday. I don't need them first and as a matter of fact I don't need these at all. They are not a necessity but I do want them but I can wait on BBTS to ship.

I would've probably done all from BBTS since I don't mind waiting a week but I'll freely admit, "arrives by tomorrow if you order in the next five minutes" for Battle Cat was the only spark of joy I've had in days so I hit buy so fast I should've broken a finger.
 
Yeah I popped an extra Trap-Jaw and all the actual pre-orders over at BBTS, but I went Amazon for in-stock. Everyone but Trappy will be here in a few hours, Trappy should be here tomorrow.

I had very little problem selling off MV Battle Cat because that figure was definitely clunky while also not being nearly as pretty as Classics. It just moved a little better, in ways that didn't really benefit the cat because He-Man from the same line barely functions with him.

99% sure they're just doing photo manipulation on Skeletor since all the display versions we've seen had a plastic candy shell cape.

I never had Classics so Masterverse made me happy because he like, wasn't solid plastic. Even Origins made me happy since he also was not one large piece of hollow plastic. The new one looks like he'll be on par with Hasbro's recent animal articulation.
 
I'm really excited to see what people do with the new BC. I'm positive a lot of people will have that one before me, as Amazon Canada hasn't even put up pre-orders for Chronicles figures yet, let alone have any in stock.

I went for he man, battle cat, trap jaw, and skeletor.

I might pass on triclops, ram man, fisto completely. I think they look sort of mid.

I think if any of them end up hard to find it will be trap jaw.

Yes, they have. This morning. I POed everyone (they had no ladies) including Cat, but am just now cancelling because EB.

They had them all for Jun 24 and Cat for Jun 10.

Call your EB. They were juuuust stocking when I walked in after lunch, and said they were streeted today.

I'm unboxing now.

Everyone gives Hasbro and Todd shit for Trigger Hands, but, uh, MAA has a gun and no trigger hand. Not that the gun even has a hole cut into the trigger guard space.
 
I'm actually having trouble looking at Fisto seriously because the actor played the biggest douchebag in Vikings: Ragnarok so well all I see is that character. That two-pack has been up on Amazon for a bit but haven't bitten yet.
