I just got my notice - so I guess that Rob just kinda likes people in LA as opposed to hating Canadians.

Also, I learned that Rob & crew will have a booth at the "Motuniverse" event in L.A. next month. I'm going to actually make an effort to go now.

Well I have to say after having a SC figure arrive I am super impressed. Also I could not believe how quickly he arrived. I placed the order the night you guys sold me on giving them a chance and it arrive maybe 2-3 days later. Super fun figure and now I really want to get Elric if there is enough when they do their in stock sale of him. We had some unforeseen medical expenses for one of our daughters so I won’t be getting any more SC figures until then at the earliest but I definitely will be getting more when I get the chance.

I love how sturdy they feel compared to ML. It was super fun playing with the MOTU Classics figures with my kids when they were little and at 3 years old my kids would put them through a beating. My hands used to get banged up when my son would slam the figures into them. He-Man would show no mercy and basically violently wipe out all the bad guys in a matter of seconds. This SC figure feels like it could take it where as some my ML figures cannot even be posed without risking a break.

lol. They are older than 3 now (miss those days). I grabbed Who-Man. Since they were out of Conan. If he is still available at BBTS when I have the funds for him I will pick him up after Elric.

Nice! Who-Man is a great figure and I've always thought he felt pretty underrated! I miss my 3 year old too man, right there with you (she's 11 now 😭 )
That’s around the age of my youngest. My oldest is now 20! Yikes I feel old typing that (in my defense I did want to start having kids young so it’s my own fault). It’s great seeing them grow into adulthood too but those young years playing with the toys I collected were very special.

My son and I had so much fun together playing with the MOTU Origins figures as they were being released, collecting the new ones, getting the playsets, etc, that I don't think I could EVER get rid of that collection. Especially now as he's just hitting that age where he's really just about the video games (still plays video games with dad, though, so that's nice) and it's really got me cherishing that collecting that we built together.
